Otter Creek Labs Suppressor Buying Guide

Every current Otter Creek Labs (OCL) suppressor we carry, from the steel Polonium and titanium Hydrogen to the printed Infinity, Universe 36, 9mm cans and the Titanium 22 rimfire: what each one is for, how the end caps work, and what PEW Science measured.

Where to start

How to Choose an Otter Creek Labs Suppressor

Otter Creek Labs built its name on affordable, high-quality suppressors that reduce sound very well. It started as two guys building suppressors in their garages, and it still makes almost everything in-house. Most of the lineup is named after elements, and once you know the families, picking one is simple:

  • Polonium: H900 17-4 stainless steel, tubeless and full-auto rated. The Polonium and Polonium K have a 6mm bore for 5.56 and 6mm. The Polonium 30 has a .30 cal bore and goes up to 300 Norma Magnum.
  • Hydrogen: Grade 5 titanium .30 cal suppressors in three lengths (K, S and L), built for precision rifles and hunting. Also made in 6.5mm.
  • Infinity: 3D printed superalloy suppressors with swappable end caps, so you can set the back pressure for your rifle. The Infinity is a .30 cal in Inconel 718; the Infinity 556K is a compact 5.56 in Haynes 282.
  • Universe 36: a printed Inconel suppressor rated for anything .36 caliber or smaller, from 9mm and 5.56 to .338 Lapua.
  • Lithium and Milkman: titanium 9mm suppressors for PCCs and subguns.
  • Titanium 22: an all-titanium rimfire suppressor that comes apart for cleaning.
  • OCM6: a reflex suppressor for the OPS 12, AEM5 and OCM5 mounting system.

Almost every OCL suppressor uses the HUB (1.375x24) rear thread, so it runs on the HUB mounts you may already own. The OCM6 is the exception and uses OPS/AE pattern mounts. Every OCL suppressor carries a lifetime warranty.

OCL is one of the best values we carry, and the Polonium and Polonium K are among our best-selling 5.56 suppressors. See Why OCL below.

Why OCL

Great Sound Reduction for the Price

Otter Creek Labs earned its following by making affordable suppressors that are built well and reduce sound very well. That's still what you get, and it's why OCL is one of the best values we carry.

Polonium and Polonium K: our best sellers

The Polonium and Polonium K are among our best-selling 5.56 suppressors, and among the lower-priced ones on our site. Both are H900 17-4 stainless, tubeless and full-auto rated. On a 10.3 in. MK18, PEW Science found the Polonium quieter than the SilencerCo Saker 556 to both bystanders and the shooter, and called its suppression to bystanders "extreme for its size."

Higher back pressure, by design

The Polonium family runs higher back pressure, and that's what buys its sound reduction. If you're not shopping for a low back pressure suppressor, the Polonium and Polonium K give you some of the best sound reduction you'll get in a can their size, with great quality at a great price. If you want lower back pressure on a gas gun, look at the Infinity or Infinity 556K, which let you set the back pressure with the end cap.

They move fast

Poloniums sell out quickly. If the one you want is out of stock, sign up for the back-in-stock email on its product page, or call us at 512-879-1068 to pre-order one. We'll guarantee you one from the next shipment.

Value across the lineup

  • The Polonium 30 is one of the lower-priced .30 cal suppressors we carry.
  • The titanium Hydrogen K, Hydrogen S and Hydrogen L cost less than most titanium .30 cal suppressors on our site.
  • The Infinity 556K is printed from Haynes 282 and still costs less than most 5.56 suppressors we carry.
Independent testing

What PEW Science Measured

PEW Science has tested nearly every OCL suppressor in this guide. Highlights:

  • Polonium (SSS.6.75): 37.7 on a 10.3 in. MK18, quieter than the SilencerCo Saker 556 to both bystanders and the shooter. PEW Science called its suppression to bystanders "extreme for its size."
  • Polonium K (SSS.6.95): 32.5 on the same MK18, a full category quieter to bystanders than the Dead Air Sandman-S and Rugged Razor556.
  • Hydrogen L (SSS.6.81, SSS.6.94): 49.8 on a 20 in. .308 and 70.1 on an 8 in. 300 BLK with subsonic ammo. PEW Science called it "one of the lightest full size high performance rifle silencers on the current market."
  • Infinity (SSS.6.196, SSS.6.179, SSS.6.178, SSS.6.185): 40.1 on a 14.5 in. M4A1 and 40.2 on an MK18 with the solid 5.56 end cap, 39.0 on .308 with the solid 7.62 end cap, and 60.1 on subsonic 300 BLK. When it was tested in August 2025, its M4A1 muzzle rating ranked in the top 7 of PEW Science's M4A1 rankings.
  • Universe 36 (SSS.6.223): 60.0 on a 9mm HK SP5, matching the Dead Air Wolfman's muzzle rating with lower back pressure.
  • Lithium (SSS.6.102): 55.4 on a 9mm HK SP5, slightly quieter to bystanders than the Resilient RS9 despite being shorter.
  • Titanium 22 (SSS.6.149, SSS.6.150): 91.4 on a .22 LR bolt rifle and 82.8 on a Beretta 21A pistol, the 2nd highest result PEW Science had recorded on that pistol at the time.

Results for each model are in its section below.

5.56 and 6mm

Otter Creek Labs 5.56 Suppressors: Polonium, Polonium K and Infinity 556K

The Polonium and Polonium K are OCL's 5.56 workhorses and among our best-selling 5.56 suppressors: stainless, full-auto rated and priced lower than most 5.56 suppressors we carry. They're built for sound reduction rather than low back pressure. If you want lower back pressure, the Infinity 556K lets you set it with the end cap. Shop all 5.56 suppressors.

Otter Creek Labs Polonium

The Polonium is OCL's full-size 5.56 and 6mm suppressor: 5.8 in., 13.5 oz, full-auto rated, and one of the lower-priced 5.56 suppressors we carry.

Length: 5.8 in.  |  Weight: 13.5 oz  |  Bore: 6mm (5.56 through 6mm and .243)  |  Diameter: 1.625 in.  |  Material: H900 17-4 stainless, tubeless  |  Mount: HUB (1.375x24), 1/2x28 direct thread included  |  Full-auto: Yes  |  Minimum barrel: 7.5 in. on 5.56

Built-in internal and external flash hiders cut visible flash, and the ribbed exterior adds 10% more surface area so it cools faster between strings. The 6mm bore covers 5.56, 6 ARC, 6mm Creedmoor, 6 Dasher and .243 Win. It's belt-fed rated on 16 in. 5.56 machine guns in strings of up to 300 rounds before cooling.

Test results and reviews

PEW Science: On a 10.3 in. MK18 (SSS.6.75), it earned a Suppression Rating of 37.7 and was quieter than the SilencerCo Saker 556 to both bystanders and the shooter.

Our customers: "Great suppressor at a great price." That customer runs it on a 16 in. bolt rifle for coyote hunting.

Otter Creek Labs Polonium K

The Polonium K is the compact Polonium: one inch shorter at 4.8 in. and 2 oz lighter at 11.5 oz, with the same 6mm bore, barrel limits and full-auto rating.

Length: 4.8 in.  |  Weight: 11.5 oz  |  Bore: 6mm (5.56 through 6mm and .243)  |  Diameter: 1.625 in.  |  Material: H900 17-4 stainless, tubeless  |  Mount: HUB (1.375x24), 1/2x28 direct thread included  |  Full-auto: Yes  |  Minimum barrel: 7.5 in. on 5.56

Pick it for SBRs where every inch counts. Like the Polonium, it runs higher back pressure in exchange for its sound reduction, and it's one of the lower-priced 5.56 suppressors we carry.

Test results and reviews

PEW Science: On a 10.3 in. MK18 (SSS.6.95), it earned 32.5, a full category quieter to bystanders than the Dead Air Sandman-S, Rugged Razor556 and OSS HX-QD 556k.

Our customers: "The Polo K performs amazing especially for the price."

.30 cal

Otter Creek Labs .30 Cal Suppressors: Polonium 30, Infinity and Hydrogen

Three directions here: the stainless Polonium 30 for one can across many rifles, the printed Infinity for gas guns and adjustable back pressure, and the titanium Hydrogen for light precision and hunting rifles. Shop all .30 cal suppressors.

Otter Creek Labs Polonium 30

The Polonium 30 is the Polonium with a .30 cal bore: 5.8 in. and 13.5 oz, rated from short-barreled 5.56 up to 300 RUM and 300 Norma Magnum. It's one of the lower-priced .30 cal suppressors we carry.

Length: 5.8 in.  |  Weight: 13.5 oz  |  Diameter: 1.625 in.  |  Material: H900 17-4 stainless, tubeless  |  Mount: HUB (1.375x24), 5/8x24 direct thread included  |  Full-auto: Yes

Minimum barrel lengths: 7.5 in. for 5.56 and 7.62x39, 10.5 in. for 6 ARC and 6.5 Grendel, 12.5 in. for .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor, 16 in. for 300 Win Mag, 7mm Rem Mag and 300 PRC, and 18 in. for 300 RUM and 300 Norma Magnum.

If you shoot mostly 5.56, the Polonium's 6mm bore gives you more 5.56 suppression. Pick the Polonium 30 when you want one can for your 5.56 and .30 cal rifles.

Test results and reviews

PEW Science: Rated 37.1 on a 20 in. .308 (SSS.6.142), with performance PEW Science called "relatively close to that of the Dead Air Nomad-30." On a 10.3 in. MK18 (SSS.6.143), it earned 30.9 and outperformed the Q Trash Panda.

Our customers: "Looks great, sounds great, and doesn't break the bank."

Otter Creek Labs Infinity

The Infinity is a 6.5 in., 20 oz .30 cal suppressor 3D printed from Inconel 718, with three end caps in the box so you can match the back pressure to your rifle.

Caliber: 5.56 through 7.62 and 300 BLK subsonic  |  Length: 6.5 in.  |  Weight: 20 oz  |  Diameter: 1.75 in.  |  Material: Inconel 718 body, H900 17-4 end caps  |  Mount: HUB (1.375x24), no mount included  |  Full-auto: Yes, no barrel limits on magazine-fed rifles

It's also belt-fed capable: up to 300 rounds of 5.56 (with a vented end cap) or 200 rounds of 7.62 before cooling. See end caps for which cap to run.

For less recoil, OCL makes a 3.4 oz titanium muzzle brake end cap that only fits Infinity series suppressors.

Test results and reviews

PEW Science: 40.1 on a 14.5 in. M4A1 with the solid 5.56 cap (SSS.6.196), 39.0 on a 20 in. .308 with the solid 7.62 cap (SSS.6.178), and 60.1 on subsonic 300 BLK (SSS.6.185). PEW Science found its back pressure lower than the Polonium and Polonium K with any end cap, and called it "a next generation silencer relative to the previous models offered from Otter Creek Labs."

Hydrogen K, S and L

All three Hydrogens share the same titanium build, mount and barrel limits; the difference is length. They cost less than most titanium .30 cal suppressors we carry. Minimum barrel lengths: 5 in. for subsonic 300 BLK, 7 in. for supersonic 300 BLK, 11.5 in. for 5.56, 6.5 Grendel, 6 ARC and 7.62x39, 14.5 in. for .308, 6.5 Creedmoor and .243, 18 in. for 6.5 PRC and WSM cartridges, 20 in. for 300 Win Mag, 22 in. for 300 PRC, and 24 in. for 300 RUM and 300 Norma Magnum.

.36 cal and smaller

Otter Creek Labs Universe 36

The Universe 36 is one suppressor for anything .36 caliber or smaller: 9mm, 5.56, 300 BLK, .308, 357 Magnum, 350 Legend, 8.6 BLK and .338 Lapua. It's 3D printed from Inconel and full-auto rated.

Caliber: .36 and smaller  |  Length: 7 in.  |  Weight: 14 oz  |  Diameter: 1.5 in.  |  Material: Inconel, DMLS printed  |  Mount: HUB (1.375x24), no mount included  |  Full-auto: Yes  |  Barrel limit: 24 in. minimum on .338 Lapua

It ships with a 9mm low back pressure (vented) end cap installed. Optional end caps cover 9mm high back pressure and 5.56 and 7.62 in low or high back pressure. End caps change with a standard socket or adjustable wrench. It works with HUB direct thread mounts, QD mounts, 3-lug mounts and pistol boosters.

Test results and reviews

PEW Science: 60.0 on a 9mm HK SP5 (SSS.6.223). PEW Science found it behaves "like a somewhat shorter higher flow rate Dead Air Wolfman with the same pure suppression performance" and that its back pressure "is not severe, even with solid end caps installed."

Our customers: On an MP5: "it sounds great."

9mm

Otter Creek Labs 9mm Suppressors: Lithium and Milkman

Both are titanium and HUB threaded. The Lithium is the lighter and more versatile of the two; the Milkman is built for low back pressure on 9mm carbines and subguns. Shop all pistol suppressors.

Otter Creek Labs Lithium

The Lithium is a 6 in., 5.7 oz titanium 9mm suppressor for PCCs and subguns. Internal venting cuts port pop on blowback guns like the MP5 and Stribog.

Length: 6 in.  |  Weight: 5.7 oz  |  Diameter: 1.5 in.  |  Material: Grade 5 titanium, CNC welded  |  Mount: HUB (1.375x24), 1/2x28 direct thread included  |  Full-auto: 9mm and subsonic 300 BLK

It takes HUB direct thread, 3-lug and booster mounts, so it can also go on a 9mm handgun with a booster. It's rated beyond 9mm too: full auto on subsonic 300 BLK with no barrel limit, supersonic 300 BLK on 7 in. and longer barrels (semi-auto), 357 Magnum lever guns on 4 in. and longer, 350 Legend and 300 HAMR on 16 in. and longer (semi-auto), 5.56 on 16 in. and longer (semi-auto, low volume), and .308, 300 Win Mag and 6.5 Creedmoor on 20 in. and longer bolt-action hunting rifles.

Test results and reviews

PEW Science: 55.4 on a 9mm HK SP5 (SSS.6.102). PEW Science called it "a compact and lightweight 9mm silencer that exhibits high sound signature suppression performance for its size," and found it slightly quieter to bystanders than the Resilient RS9 despite being shorter.

Otter Creek Labs Milkman

The Milkman is a 3D printed titanium 9mm suppressor built for low back pressure on AR9s, MP5s, Uzis, Scorpions, MCXs and B&T carbines, with no barrel length restrictions on 9mm.

Length: 6 in.  |  Weight: 8.8 oz  |  Diameter: 2 in. (1.5 in. at the taper)  |  Material: Grade 5 titanium, DMLS printed  |  Mount: HUB (1.375x24), no mount included  |  Full-auto: Yes  |  Calibers: 9mm, .38/.357, 350 Legend, .32 ACP, 8.6 BLK, .338 ARC

The Milkman is for rifles, PCCs and subguns only. Pistol and booster use isn't recommended or covered by the warranty; for a 9mm handgun, pick the Lithium. Because it ships without a mount, pick up a HUB direct thread, 3-lug or QD mount with it.

Otter Creek Labs Titanium 22

The Titanium 22 is an all-titanium .22 suppressor: 5.18 in., 4 oz, full-auto rated on .22 LR, and rated (semi-auto) for 5.7x28, .17 HMR and .22 Magnum.

Length: 5.18 in.  |  Weight: 4 oz  |  Material: Titanium  |  Mount: 1/2x28, semi-permanent  |  Full-auto: .22 LR  |  Serviceable: Yes, baffles come out for cleaning

Rimfire is dirty, so the baffles come out for cleaning and have alignment tabs that only go together one way. You can clean them in an ultrasonic cleaner, with chemicals, in a stainless pin tumbler or with a wire brush. The 1/2x28 mount stays put when you unthread the suppressor, and its threads are longer than most to fit longer-threaded rifle barrels. Wrench flats take a standard adjustable wrench.

Test results and reviews

PEW Science: 91.4 on a 16 in. CZ 452 .22 LR rifle (SSS.6.149) and 82.8 on a Beretta 21A pistol (SSS.6.150), the 2nd highest result PEW Science had recorded on that pistol at the time. It found the Titanium 22 as consistent as the long Rugged Oculus "at approximately 41% of the weight."

Our customers: "On my Buckmark with 5.5" Trail-Lite bbl and subs it's awesome but even better on a 10/22."

OPS 12 and AEM5 mounts

Otter Creek Labs OCM6 Reflex Suppressor

Otter Creek Labs OCM6

The OCM6 is the second generation of the OCM5, OCL's take on the OPS 12 and AEM5 reflex suppressors used on MK12 style rifles. It's 8.8 in. long but reaches 2.6 in. back over the barrel, so it adds 6.2 in. past the muzzle.

Caliber: 6mm bore (5.56, 6 ARC, 6 Dasher, 6mm Creedmoor, .243)  |  Length: 8.8 in. (6.2 in. past the muzzle)  |  Weight: 16 oz  |  Material: Titanium tube, 3D printed Inconel 718 core  |  Mount: OPS 12/AEM5 pattern, OTB, MWA and PTB mounts

It's 24% (about 5 oz) lighter than the original OPS 12 and AEM5, and it's tuned for the shooter's ear and lower back pressure, with less port pop than earlier models. Every OPS 12, AEM5 and OCM5 mount, collar and brake you own fits it. See mounts.

Test results and reviews

PEW Science: 34.1 on a 14.5 in. M4A1 (SSS.6.213). PEW Science called it "most likely the most advanced hybrid design version of the OPS INC 'military clone' family of rifle silencers."

Infinity and Universe 36 End Caps: Setting Your Back Pressure

The Infinity, Infinity 556K and Universe 36 let you change the front end cap to change how much gas goes back into your rifle. A solid cap gives the most suppression. A vented cap lets more gas out the front, so less comes back at you on a gas gun. Here's how to pick:

SuppressorEnd capUse it for
InfinitySolid 5.56 (included)Most suppression on 5.56 rifles and 6mm and .243 bolt guns
InfinitySolid 7.62 (included)Standard 5.56 rifles, 6.5mm through 7.62 bolt guns and subsonic 300 BLK
InfinityVented 7.62 (included)Gas-sensitive guns like the MCX, SCAR, AR-10, Tavor, AK and overgassed ARs, and any semi-auto 7.62
InfinityVented 5.56 (optional)Between the solid 5.56 and vented 7.62 caps
Infinity 556KMedium (included); low or high (optional)Low for gas-sensitive SBRs, high for more suppression
Universe 369mm vented (included); 9mm high, 5.56 and 7.62 low or high (optional)Match the cap to the caliber, then pick low or high back pressure

PEW Science measured the trade-off on the Infinity. On a 14.5 in. M4A1, it rated 40.1 with the solid 5.56 cap, 37.8 with the vented 5.56 cap and 36.1 with the vented 7.62 cap (SSS.6.196). Browse end caps.

Otter Creek Labs Mounts and Accessories

HUB mounts

Every OCL suppressor in this guide except the Titanium 22 and OCM6 uses the HUB (1.375x24) rear thread. That means it runs on HUB direct thread mounts from Dead Air, SilencerCo, Energetic Armament and YHM, and QD systems like the SilencerCo ASR, Q Plan-B, Dead Air Key-Mo and Xeno, Griffin's mounts and the YHM Kurz and Phantom. The Polonium, Polonium K, Polonium 30, Hydrogen and Lithium include a direct thread mount; the Infinity, Infinity 556K, Universe 36 and Milkman don't, so pick one up with your suppressor. Browse rifle mounts and pistol mounts and boosters.

OPS 12, AEM5 and OCM5 pattern

For the OCM6 and the older OPS 12, AEM5 and OCM5 suppressors:

  • OTB Flash Hider: a one-piece flash hider and suppressor mount that sits over the barrel, so there's no separate collar. It needs a barrel 0.75 in. or less in diameter with at least 2.05 in. of barrel exposed past the shoulder. Made from H900 17-4 stainless in 1/2x28 or 5/8x24.
  • OTB Muzzle Brake: the same one-piece over-the-barrel mount as a brake, with the same barrel requirements. Time it with the included shim kit only; a crush washer voids the warranty.
  • OPS/AE Flash Hider: a conventional H900 17-4 flash hider for the OPS/AE mount, with wrench flats and a pre-drilled hole for pinning and welding.
  • HUB Reflex Adapter: a 4.4 oz titanium adapter that lets a HUB suppressor or blast diverter use OPS 12, AEM5 and OCM5 mounts.

FAQ

Otter Creek Labs Suppressor FAQ

Are Otter Creek Labs suppressors good?

Yes. Otter Creek Labs built its name on affordable, high-quality suppressors that reduce sound very well, and it's one of the best values we carry. The Polonium and Polonium K are among our best-selling 5.56 suppressors. On a 10.3 in. MK18, PEW Science found the Polonium quieter than the SilencerCo Saker 556 to both bystanders and the shooter, and it rated the Hydrogen L 49.8 on .308 and the Titanium 22 91.4 on a .22 LR rifle. Every OCL suppressor has a lifetime warranty.

Where is Otter Creek Labs located?

London, Kentucky. The company is named for the Otter Creek school in Kentucky that a co-founder's grandfather attended, and it makes almost everything in-house.

Who owns Otter Creek Labs?

Otter Creek Labs was founded in 2020 by two friends, Andrew and John D'Amato, who started out building suppressors in their garages.

What is the best Otter Creek Labs suppressor?

It depends on the rifle. For a compact 5.56, the Polonium K. For an all-around 5.56 and 6mm, the Polonium. For one can across 5.56 and .30 cal, the Polonium 30. For gas guns and adjustable back pressure, the Infinity. For light precision and hunting rifles, the Hydrogen K, S or L. For 9mm, the Lithium or Milkman. For rimfire, the Titanium 22. For everything up to .36 caliber, the Universe 36.

Polonium vs. Polonium K: what's the difference?

Length, weight and a little sound reduction. The Polonium is 5.8 in. and 13.5 oz; the Polonium K is 4.8 in. and 11.5 oz. Both have a 6mm bore for 5.56 and 6mm, the same 7.5 in. minimum barrel on 5.56, the same full-auto rating and the same HUB mount. Pick the Polonium for more sound reduction and the Polonium K when length matters most.

Is the Polonium flow-through? Is it HUB compatible?

It isn't a flow-through design. The Polonium is a tubeless baffle suppressor that runs higher back pressure in exchange for its sound reduction. If you want lower back pressure, look at the Infinity or Infinity 556K. And yes, the Polonium, Polonium K and Polonium 30 all use the HUB (1.375x24) rear thread.

Do Polonium suppressors have high back pressure?

Yes. The Polonium family runs higher back pressure, and that's what gives it its sound reduction. If you don't need a low back pressure suppressor, the Polonium and Polonium K are great cans with some of the best sound reduction you'll get in their size. For lower back pressure on a gas gun, the Infinity and Infinity 556K let you set it with the end cap, and PEW Science found the Infinity's back pressure lower than the Polonium's with any end cap.

How do you clean the Polonium?

The Polonium is welded and doesn't come apart, so there's no baffle stack to pull and clean. OCL's lifetime warranty covers a refresh or re-core from high round counts.

How long is the Polonium K and how much does it weigh?

4.8 in. and 11.5 oz without a mount, with a 1.625 in. diameter. PEW Science measured it at 5.3 in. and 13.6 oz with the included direct thread mount.

Is the Polonium K full-auto rated?

Yes. The Polonium, Polonium K and Polonium 30 are full-auto rated, and the Polonium and Polonium K are belt-fed rated on 16 in. 5.56 machine guns in strings of up to 300 rounds before cooling.

What muzzle device should I use with the Polonium K?

Any HUB (1.375x24) mounting system. It comes with a 1/2x28 direct thread mount. For a quick-detach setup, pick a HUB QD mount like the SilencerCo ASR, Q Plan-B or Dead Air Key-Mo or Xeno, and run that system's muzzle device on your rifle.

Is the Polonium 30 good?

Yes, and it's one of the lower-priced .30 cal suppressors we carry. PEW Science rated it 37.1 on a 20 in. .308 and found its performance relatively close to the Dead Air Nomad-30, and on a 10.3 in. MK18 it outperformed the Q Trash Panda. Our customers say it "Looks great, sounds great, and doesn't break the bank."

Can I use the Polonium 30 on 300 Blackout?

Yes. The Polonium 30's .30 cal bore covers 300 BLK along with short-barreled 5.56, .308 and magnums up to 300 RUM and 300 Norma Magnum.

Polonium 30 vs. Nomad 30 vs. Omega 300: which is better?

The Polonium 30 is the shortest of the three at 5.8 in. and 13.5 oz, and it costs less than both on our site. The steel Dead Air Nomad 30 is 6.5 in. and 14.5 oz, and the SilencerCo Omega 300 is 6.98 in. and 12.6 oz. On a 20 in. .308, PEW Science found the Polonium 30's overall performance relatively close to the Nomad-30's.

OCL Titanium 22 vs. Dead Air Mask: which is better?

The Titanium 22 is lighter (4 oz vs. 6.6 oz) and all titanium; the Mask 22 HD is stainless steel. Both come apart for cleaning. PEW Science rated the Titanium 22 91.4 on a .22 LR rifle and 82.8 on a Beretta 21A pistol, the 2nd highest result it had recorded on that pistol at the time.

How do you clean the Titanium 22, and what's its diameter?

The baffles come out, and they have alignment tabs so they only go back together one way. You can clean them in an ultrasonic cleaner, with chemicals, in a stainless pin tumbler or with a wire brush. PEW Science measured the diameter at 1.1 in.

Hydrogen K vs. S vs. L: what's the difference?

Length and sound reduction. The Hydrogen K is 5 in. and 6.7 oz, the Hydrogen S is 7 in. and 9.3 oz, and the Hydrogen L is 9 in. and 11.9 oz. All three are Grade 5 titanium, rated up to 300 Norma Magnum, and include a 5/8x24 direct thread mount. PEW Science rated the Hydrogen L 49.8 on .308 and 70.1 on subsonic 300 BLK. The Hydrogen is also made in 6.5mm.

What is the OCL Universe 36?

A 3D printed Inconel suppressor rated for anything .36 caliber or smaller, from 9mm and 5.56 to .308, 8.6 BLK and .338 Lapua (24 in. minimum barrel on .338 Lapua). It's 7 in. and 14 oz, full-auto rated, and ships with a 9mm vented end cap; other end caps are sold separately. PEW Science rated it 60.0 on a 9mm HK SP5.

Lithium 9 vs. Milkman: which 9mm suppressor should I get?

The Lithium is lighter (5.7 oz vs. 8.8 oz), includes a 1/2x28 direct thread mount and can go on a handgun with a booster. The Milkman is built for low back pressure on blowback carbines and subguns, ships without a mount, and isn't for pistol use.

Can I use the OCL Milkman on a pistol?

No. The Milkman is built for rifles, PCCs and subguns, and pistol or booster use isn't recommended or covered by the warranty. For a 9mm handgun, get the Lithium, which takes a booster.

Does the Infinity have a muzzle brake?

OCL makes a titanium muzzle brake end cap for the Infinity. It weighs 3.4 oz and only fits Infinity series suppressors.

What do the Infinity end caps do?

They set the back pressure. The solid 5.56 cap gives the most suppression on 5.56 rifles and 6mm bolt guns. The solid 7.62 cap covers standard 5.56 rifles, 6.5mm through 7.62 bolt guns and subsonic 300 BLK. The vented 7.62 cap lets the most gas out the front for gas-sensitive rifles like the MCX, SCAR and AR-10. A vented 5.56 cap is sold separately.

What is the OCM5?

The OCM5 is the earlier OCL reflex suppressor for the OPS 12 and AEM5 mounting system. The OCM6 is its second generation, and every OCM5 mount, collar and brake fits the OCM6.

Do Otter Creek Labs suppressors come with a mount?

Most do. The Polonium, Polonium K and Lithium include a 1/2x28 direct thread mount, and the Polonium 30 and Hydrogen K, S and L include a 5/8x24 direct thread mount. The Infinity, Infinity 556K, Universe 36 and Milkman don't include a mount. The OCM6 uses OPS 12 and AEM5 pattern mounts, sold separately.

Are Otter Creek Labs suppressors full-auto rated?

Most are. The Polonium family, Infinity, Infinity 556K, Universe 36 and Milkman are full-auto rated. The Lithium is full-auto rated on 9mm and subsonic 300 BLK, and the Titanium 22 on .22 LR. The titanium Hydrogens are rated for limited full-auto use as long as the suppressor stays under 800 degrees F.

What warranty do Otter Creek Labs suppressors have?

A lifetime warranty. It covers baffle and end cap strikes, a refresh or re-core from high round counts, a mount stuck in the suppressor, and anything else that happens in general use. Permanent modifications, like drilling, boring or welding on a mount, are repaired at cost.

Why is the Polonium out of stock?

Poloniums sell fast. They're among our best-selling 5.56 suppressors, so if the one you want is out of stock, sign up for the back-in-stock email on its product page, or call us at 512-879-1068 to pre-order one. We'll guarantee you one from the next shipment.
