SILENCERCO ASR FLASH HIDER
The SilencerCo ASR flash hider is compatible with the SilencerCo Active Spring Retention "ASR" mounting system. The ASR mounting system comes standard on the Omega 300, Omega 36M, Hybrid 46M, Chimera 300, Saker ASR and Specwar family of suppressors. It is an optional accessory for many other suppressors when combined with an Alpha, Bravo, or Charlie ASR mounting system. It offers one hand-on, one hand-off attachment/detachment. The patent-pending resonance suppression effectively eliminates the tuning-fork effect common with competing 3-prong flash hiders.
The ASR Flash Hiders do not come with Rocksett nor include shims, as they are not required for flash hider installation.
The 7.62 and 9mm 1/2x28 flash hiders work fine with 5.56 rifles and are acceptable replacements for the 5.56 version (AC141).

Could this brake be pinned to a 13.7" barrel to reach the legal 16" length? If not would the BE Meyers ASR FH work in that regard?
The overall length of the ASR flash hider 2.46" and the BE Meyers is 2.54". You will loose about .5" once the flash hider threads over your barrel. Neither would give you enough length to make the barrel legal.

If I pen and weld this to a 14.5"will it make 16" or more?
Yes, the flash hider is 2.46" in length and would satisfy the 16" overall length requirement once pinned and welded to the 14.5" barrel.

Can this be used with the .458 Sosom and a Hybrid can?
Yes, you will need the ASR QD Mount : http://www.capitolarmory.com/silencerco-omega-harvester-big-bore-asr-mount.html
and a flash hider or muzzle brake with the appropriate bore diameter. The 5/8x24 (.46) , 5/8x32 (.46) and 11/16x24 will work with 458 socom.
