The SilencerCo Omega 36M is a modular, full-auto rated multi-caliber suppressor built from Cobalt 6, Inconel, titanium, and 17-4 stainless steel with a black Cerakote finish. The two-piece design runs 6.85 inches and 12.5 ounces in the long configuration, or drops to 4.90 inches and 9.8 ounces with the front section removed. Both configurations are full-auto rated. Caliber coverage spans 9mm through .338 Lapua Magnum, including 350 Legend, 357 Magnum, .300 BLK, 5.56 NATO, .308 WIN, and .300 Win Mag. Sound performance in the long configuration measures 123.3 dB on 9mm, 130.6 dB on 5.56, 136.9 dB on .308, and 141.4 dB on .338 Lapua. The Omega 36M uses the Charlie mounting system, cross-compatible with existing Saker and Velos accessories, and ships with a Charlie ASR quick-detach mount. Charlie direct thread, 3-lug, and piston booster accessories are available separately for subgun and handgun use. CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

The Omega 36M gets lumped in with the general multi-caliber suppressor category, but that framing undersells what it actually is. It's built with a fully welded Cobalt 6 and Inconel core designed for sustained fire on .308, .300 Win Mag, and .338 Lapua, that also happens to run 9mm and pistol calibers well. Most multi-cal cans make that trade in the opposite direction, optimizing for versatility and accepting compromised performance at the extremes. The 36M leads with rifle performance and the pistol capability is a bonus. The modular length system adds versatility. Dropping from 6.85 to 4.90 inches removes 2.7 ounces and meaningfully changes how the suppressor feels on a shorter host. For a 10-inch 5.56 SBR or a pistol-caliber subgun, the short configuration is the one most will use. For a precision .308 or .338 build where sound reduction is the priority, keep it long and run it at the full 12.5 ounces. 

The Charlie mounting system is one of the better-supported interfaces in the industry. Dead Air's KeyMo adapter and Plan B by Q both have Charlie-compatible versions, so you are not locked into SilencerCo's ecosystem if you prefer a different QD system. The included Charlie ASR mount covers most rifle setups out of the box, and the booster assembly and 3-lug options extend the 36M to tilting-barrel pistols and MP5-pattern hosts without additional complexity. At this caliber range with a modular design, the Omega 36M is one of the more versatile cans on the market.
