SilencerCo Saker ASR 556k

SILENCERCO SAKER ASR 556K SUPPRESSOR - COMPACT, FULL-AUTO RATED, NO BARREL RESTRICTIONS

The SilencerCo Saker ASR 556K is a compact, full-auto rated suppressor dedicated to .223 REM and 5.56 NATO, built for hard use on AR-15 SBRs and other short-barreled rifles. It measures 4.96" long and 1.50" in diameter, weighs 11.8 oz, and carries no barrel restrictions. The fully welded design is constructed from Cobalt-6, 17-4 stainless steel, and 316 stainless steel, with an internal Cobalt-6 Hoplon Baffle that deflects debris to extend suppressor life under short-barrel and full-auto use.

As the shorter, more compact member of the Saker ASR line, the 556K is designed to handle extensive gunfire on semi-auto and full-auto 5.56 hosts, especially short-barreled rifles. That combination of durability and small size keeps a compact rifle maneuverable, which makes it a strong fit for home defense, tactical work, and rigorous hard-use training.

Every Saker ASR 556K ships with a Charlie ASR Mount and a .223 1/2x28 ASR flash hider. The ASR mount uses a secondary locking collar that keeps the suppressor from backing off under firing shock and vibration, and it works with all SilencerCo ASR muzzle devices, including the ASR muzzle brake. For a shorter overall setup, the Charlie Direct Thread Mount threads straight onto the barrel. The 556K also accepts interchangeable Charlie front caps, such as the Charlie flash hider front cap to minimize excess flash and the Charlie standoff front cap.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

When the Saker was first released, it brought extreme durability, replaceable end caps, and modular mounting to the market, and it arguably changed how a lot of people look at centerfire rifle cans. It set the standard for how much abuse a 5.56 silencer could take, and it's still one of the most durable cans ever created. Other suppressors have since picked up modular components and better dB reduction, but the Saker remains the king of durability.

The Saker ASR 556K keeps that virtually indestructible build in a compact package made for extremely short barrels and full-auto abuse, and it improves on dB reduction along the way. Most of our customers run it on SBRs, where compact size matters and the rifle gets used hard.

Beyond the cosmetic changes and the ASR mount, the Saker ASR is a quieter suppressor at a much more accessible price point than the original. If you want a compact 5.56 can that you never have to baby, this is the one we'd point you to.
