SILENCERCO HYBRID 46 DTM SUPPRESSOR - FULL-AUTO RATED, MULTI-CALIBER, 9MM THROUGH .460

The SilencerCo Hybrid 46 DTM is a full-auto and magnum rated multi-caliber suppressor with a .46 caliber bore, built for pistols, submachine guns, and rifles. It covers pistol calibers from 9mm to .45 ACP and rifle calibers from 5.56 NATO to .45-70 GOV, with magnum ratings up to .460 Weatherby Magnum. The fully welded design pairs a titanium tube with stainless steel and Inconel baffles in a black Cerakote finish, measuring 7.61" long and 1.57" in diameter at 14.1 oz. It ships as a direct thread suppressor with a 5/8x24 Bravo Direct Thread Mount, ready to go on a 5/8x24 threaded barrel.

For big bore shooters, the Hybrid 46 DTM puts .458 SOCOM, .45-70 GOV, and magnum rifle calibers in the same can that runs a 9mm pistol. SilencerCo sets minimum barrel lengths of 8" for .458 SOCOM, 16" for .45-70 GOV, and 18" for magnum calibers up to .338 Lapua Magnum. In SilencerCo's testing, it measured 140.6 dB on .45-70 GOV from a 24" barrel and 123.7 dB on .300 BLK with 220 gr ammo from an 8.5" barrel, measured at the ear.

Mounting runs through a HUB (1.375x24) rear interface, part of SilencerCo's Bravo system. Beyond the included direct thread mount, it accepts the SilencerCo ASR Mount for quick attach and detach over ASR muzzle devices, the Bravo Piston Mount with SilencerCo pistons for threaded handguns, and the SilencerCo Thread Over Mount. For 3-Lug hosts, a 3-Lug mount threads into the Bravo Piston Mount once the spring and piston are removed. Interchangeable Bravo front caps let you match the front cap to the caliber you're shooting, and a .458 caliber Bravo Front Cap comes in the box.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

The Hybrid 46 DTM is about as close as you can get to one suppressor for an entire safe. Most multi-caliber cans give something up somewhere, usually mounting options or caliber ceiling, and this one really doesn't. The .46 bore runs everything from 9mm handguns to .45-70 lever guns and magnum rifles up to .460 Weatherby Magnum, while the HUB (1.375x24) interface opens up SilencerCo's full Bravo lineup plus adapters from Dead Air and Q.

Versatility is the whole story here, and the accessory suite is just as impressive as the caliber list. Want to run it on a full-size pistol, a PCC, an AR, and a bolt gun? Direct thread and ASR mounts handle the rifles, pistons cover threaded pistols, and 3-Lug mounts take care of PCCs, so you can customize it to nearly anything you own. The swappable front caps are a big plus too, since you can optimize sound for a specific caliber without buying a second suppressor.

We think it's especially enjoyable on lever action rifles in calibers like .45 Long Colt, .44 Special, and .45-70. It's also a great pick if you just want a big-bore suppressor to quiet down some of the larger calibers that don't get shot as often. Plan for a bit of size and weight, though. This isn't a lightweight precision rifle can, and that tradeoff comes with covering this many calibers and hosts. Pair it with a dedicated .22 LR suppressor and nearly everything in your collection is covered, from rimfire to magnum rifle.
