3.17 ounces is a number worth sitting with for a moment. Most rimfire suppressors weigh more than that. The Spectre 9K is a full-auto rated 9mm can and it weighs less than a loaded Glock 17 magazine. That weight figure is the headline, but the tubeless architecture is the story behind it. Removing the outer tube and letting the baffle geometry handle structural integrity is how SilencerCo got to 3.17 ounces in titanium without compromising the full-auto rating. At 3.69 inches, the Spectre 9K also adds almost nothing to the overall length of a compact or subcompact host. For shooters who want suppression without the visual and handling footprint of a standard-length pistol can, that matters. The tradeoff is sound reduction. A 3.69-inch suppressor is not going to match what a 6-inch can produces, but if a compact size is the priority, the Spectre 9K is the right tool. 

The Alpha accessory ecosystem is well-supported and covers essentially every common pistol and subgun mounting configuration. If you are already running SilencerCo pistons on another can, those transfer directly. The Alpha ASR mount option also opens the door to running the Spectre 9K on a 9mm PCC or AR-9 with a quick-detach setup, which is a useful capability in a package this small.
