SILENCERCO OMEGA 300 DT SUPPRESSOR - FULL-AUTO RATED .30 CALIBER SILENCER, 5.56 NATO TO .300 WIN MAG
The SilencerCo Omega 300 is a full-auto and magnum-rated .30 caliber suppressor built for carbines, hunting rifles, and precision rifles. Rated from 5.56 NATO to .300 Win Mag, the Omega 300 handles the full spectrum of rifle calibers in a single suppressor. The combination of titanium, Stellite, Inconel, and stainless steel keeps weight at 12.6 oz while handling hard use. The Omega 300 uses the 1.375x24 HUB mount interface and ships with a 5/8x24 direct thread mount and .30 caliber Anchor Brake front cap for recoil reduction. Upgrade to ASR quick-detach, Dead Air KeyMo, or Plan B by Q for one-handed attachment and removal.
CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
The Omega 300 is one of the most popular .30 caliber suppressors we sell. In its shortest configuration (direct thread mount and flat end cap), the Omega 300 measures 6.09" and 14 oz. Most hearing-safe .30 caliber suppressors run at least 7", which makes the Omega our first choice when overall length matters. If you're tucking the Omega under a rail, consider the direct thread module or upgrade to Dead Air KeyMo for one-handed operation.

What mounting system does the Omega 300 use?
The Omega 300 uses the 1.375x24 HUB mount interface, branded by SilencerCo as "Bravo". It ships with a 5/8x24 direct thread mount, and can be upgraded to ASR quick-detach, Dead Air KeyMo, or Plan B by Q for one-handed attachment and removal. The Bravo/HUB system means you're not locked into SilencerCo's ecosystem. A wide range of third-party mounts work right out of the box. If you already run ASR muzzle devices on your rifles, just purchase and install the Bravo ASR mount you're ready to go.
What calibers can it handle?
The Omega 300 is rated from .223 REM/5.56 NATO all the way up to .300 Winchester Magnum. Minimum barrel length requirements apply: 7" for .300 BLK, 10" for 5.56 NATO, 16" for 7.62 NATO, and 20" for magnum calibers. It's also worth noting that cast lead projectiles (including 22LR) are not recommended for use in any SilencerCo sealed suppressors.
What's the difference between the Omega 300 and the Scythe Ti?
These two cover different priorities. The Scythe Ti is the ultralight hunting-focused option. It weighs just 7.3 ounces thanks to its Grade 5 and 9 titanium construction, and measures 6.16 inches in length. It's also not full-auto rated. The Omega 300, by comparison, is a heavier but proven stainless and Inconel suppressor with a long track record. It runs a bit heavier at around 14 oz, but it's full-auto rated, magnum-rated, and arguably more durable under hard use. Both cover .223 Rem through .300 Win Mag territory. If minimum weight is your top priority and you're strictly running bolt guns in the field, the Scythe Ti is compelling. If you want one can that does it all, the Omega 300 is the more versatile choice.
What's the difference between the Omega 300 and the Omega 36M?
The big story with the Omega 36M is modularity and expanded caliber range. The Omega 36M is a two-piece modular design — the front section can be removed for a shorter, lighter configuration and it's compatible with everything from 9mm up to .338 Lapua. That makes it a genuine multi-role suppressor for someone who wants to run one can across pistols, subguns, and magnum rifles. In its long configuration on rifles, the Omega 36M delivers comparable performance to the Omega 300. One major difference is that it uses the Charlie mounting system rather than the Bravo system the Omega 300 uses, so your mounting systems won't cross over between the two. The Omega 300 is the tighter, simpler, lighter package optimized specifically for rifle use. The Omega 36M is the better pick if you want pistol/rifle crossover and expanded caliber options in one suppressor.
Is the Omega 300 HUB compatible?
Yes. The Omega was HUB-compatible before everybody else was. SilencerCo's Bravo mounting ecosystem was adapted by other companies and labeled as "HUB". It ships with a 5/8x24 direct thread mount installed, but the HUB interface lets you swap to ASR, KeyMo, Plan B by Q, or virtually any other popular mounting system without sending the can anywhere. The included tools make the swap straightforward at home.
Is it good for hunting?
Absolutely. In fact, it's one of the best hunting suppressors on the market. If sound reduction is your primary concern, the Omega 300 is the answer for precision and hunting applications. It's short enough in direct thread configuration (6.09" without the brake) to keep your rifle handy in a blind or on a stalk, light enough not to ruin your rifle's balance, and quiet enough to protect your hearing shot after shot without plugs. The broad caliber range is a bonus. One can covers your deer rifle, your hog gun, and your varmint rig. If weight is the absolute deciding factor and you're running bolt guns only, the Scythe Ti nudges ahead. But for most hunters who want durability, versatility, and outstanding performance, the Omega 300 is hard to beat.
What's that funny-looking thing on the front? (The Anchor Brake)
That's the Anchor Brake, and it's actually doing double duty. The ported brake design redirects gas to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise while also improving sound reduction compared to a flat end cap. Depending on the caliber, it can reduce felt recoil noticeably, especially on bigger cartridges like .300 Win Mag. If you'd rather run without it for a slimmer profile or to shave an inch of overall length, the Omega 300 can be used with the SilencerCo Bravo Front Cap and you're good to go.
