The Q Porq Chop is a deep-drawn, laser-welded stainless steel suppressor developed alongside the 8.6 Blackout cartridge. At 12 ounces and 1.75 inches in diameter, it is lighter than many titanium suppressors on the market while handling the projectiles and sustained fire demands of the most aggressive 8.6 Blackout shooters. Rated for 8.6 Blackout and under, the Porq Chop uses Q's Quickie XL fast-attach system on an M18x1.5 mount and ships with an XL Cherry Bomb muzzle device. The Porq Chop features a black nitride finish for long-term corrosion resistance. If you are running an 8.6 BLK build for hunting or precision work and want a suppressor designed from the ground up for that cartridge rather than adapted from an existing platform, the Porq Chop is the purpose-built option.

8.6 Blackout is essentially the subsonic hunting concept that made 300 Blackout popular, scaled up to .338 with meaningfully more terminal performance. Q built the Porq Chop alongside the cartridge rather than retrofitting an existing suppressor for it. Deep-draw steel construction is not a common manufacturing approach in the suppressor industry, and the result here is a stainless steel can that comes in under 12 ounces, which undercuts a lot of titanium options. Steel also handles sustained fire better than titanium without the sparking, which matters if you are running this on a nighttime hog hunting rig. 

The Quickie XL system is fast and positive, and if you are already running a Q Fix or another Q host with a Cherry Bomb XL, the Porq Chop drops right in without additional hardware. Shooters who want a shorter overall package on the same platform should look at the Short Chop by Q, which uses the same mounting system in a more compact profile.
