SHOOT WITH YOUR FACTORY SIGHTS
The SilencerCo Osprey 45 2.0 is the only multi-caliber polygonal pistol suppressor on the market. Its eccentric design positions the suppressor body below your line of sight, so you can use your existing factory sights without modification or replacement.
The monocore baffle design inside the polygonal housing creates greater internal volume than traditional round suppressors, resulting in better sound reduction across all rated calibers. The Osprey 45 2.0 handles 9mm through .45 ACP, plus subsonic 300 Blackout, making it a true multi-caliber option for pistol and subgun shooters.
Version 2.0 replaces the original cam lever with a push-button indexing system. Press the button to rotate and align the suppressor, then release to lock it in position. This makes mounting faster and more repeatable than the original design.
The Osprey uses a Nielsen device (booster) for proper cycling on semi-automatic pistols with tilting barrels. All Osprey models share the same booster dimensions, so pistons are interchangeable between versions and compatible with the Omega 36M, Hybrid 46, Octane Series, and Omega K Series. For fixed-barrel hosts like the CZ Scorpion or 9mm AR platforms, you'll need a fixed barrel spacer.
The Osprey 45 2.0 can be shot wet or dry. Adding 5cc of water or wire pulling gel temporarily improves sound suppression. Lead projectiles are not recommended.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S TAKE
The Osprey 45 has been around for years, and it remains one of the better-sounding pistol suppressors available. Beyond the numbers, it has a tone that shooters describe as pleasant rather than harsh. The polygonal shape isn't just for looks. It keeps the bulk of the suppressor below your sight line while maximizing internal volume for sound reduction.
Most of the Osprey's weight sits near the rear, which improves balance once mounted. While you can run it on fixed-barrel platforms with the right spacer, this suppressor performs best on handguns where the booster system does its job.
The 2.0 update addresses the main complaint about the original: the cam lever. The new push-button system is simpler and faster. Press, rotate, release, done.

AN IMPROVED CLEAR SIGHT PICTURE
The SilencerCo Osprey 45 2.0 uses a monocore baffle design inside a polygonal housing, allowing users to maintain their existing factory sights while maintaining the benefits of a larger internal volume. A patented push-button locking system enables the SilencerCo Osprey to index to the correct position and retain that position between mounting and removal. In addition to pistol cartridges, the SilencerCo Osprey is rated for subsonic 300 Blackout ammunition. Using the SilencerCo Osprey on a fixed barrel, such as an AR-15, requires using a fixed barrel spacer.
The high performance and multi-caliber capabilities of the SilencerCo Osprey make it one of the most popular silencers on the market today. The SilencerCo Osprey features a unique booster, or Nielsen device, allowing proper cycling with all relevant semi-automatic handguns. All versions of the Osprey utilize the same booster dimensions so that the user can interchange the piston portion for different calibers or thread specifications.
The 2.0 has updated the indexing system to be faster and more reliable. Instead of the previous cam lever, the 2.0 uses a button to retract the internal locking mechanism. This allows the silencer to be indexed freely and quickly.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
The Osprey 45 isn't the newest pistol suppressor, but to many, it remains one of the best-sounding pistol silencers on the market. Not only is it quiet, but it has a very pleasant tone. Its unique profile offers a better sight picture than many traditionally shaped cans. Most of the Osprey's weight is near the rear of the suppressor, making it feel even lighter once mounted to a pistol. While you can use fixed barrel spaces to mount the Osprey on fixed-barrel firearms such as a CZ Scorpion or 9mm AR, the Osprey 45 is best suited on handguns. The release of the Osprey 45 2.0 takes the iconic aspects of the original and puts them into a more sleek package. The cam-lever is a thing of the past and has been replaced by a simple button. Press in to rotate and index, then release to lock the silencer into place.
