The MAGCO EDS-30L is a multi-caliber rifle suppressor machined from 17-4 stainless steel and heat treated to H900 for maximum strength and corrosion resistance. Laser-welded construction and a precision-machined end cap with 3/8-inch hex interface keep things consistent whether you're running 5.56 on a short barrel or .308 on a precision platform. At 16.2 ounces and 7-7/8 inches without a mount, the EDS-30L covers calibers from 5.56 NATO through .300 Win Mag on a 1-3/8x24 HUB-compatible interface. Rated to 1,000 degrees with a mandatory cooldown after reaching max operating temperature.
CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
Magco is newer to the suppressor market, but the EDS-30L doesn't feel like a first effort. The 17-4 H900 stainless is the same material you'll find on cans that run $300-$400 more, and laser-welded construction means the tube isn't counting on threaded joints to stay together after a few hundred rounds of hard use. The HUB-mount interface keeps your existing mounting hardware in play, which is a real consideration if you've already invested in a mount ecosystem. The welded end cap with the 3/8-inch hex interface is one of those details that seems minor until the first time you're fighting a heat-seized mount on a range day. The EDS-30L is quiet, durable, and comes it at a more-than-reasonable price point.
