DANIEL DEFENSE DDM4 ISR - GEN 2, 300 BLACKOUT INTEGRALLY SUPPRESSED RIFLE, SINGLE TAX STAMP

The Daniel Defense DDM4 ISR - Gen 2 is an integrally suppressed AR15 style rifle optimized for the 300 BLK cartridge. It's built around a 9" cold hammer forged S2W barrel that's fluted with a target crown, paired with a pistol-length gas system, and Daniel Defense designed it to deliver both subsonic and supersonic projectiles accurately and reliably. The DDM4 ISR weighs 7.57 lbs, measures 31.5" to 34.75" overall, and is available in Black and Milspec+.

Because the suppressor is an integral part of the barrel, the DDM4 ISR is ready for service right out of the box. There's no mounting a suppressor and wondering whether it's properly aligned, and no re-zeroing between suppressed and unsuppressed fire. The all stainless steel suppressor uses a 17-4PH monolithic baffle, carries a high-temp Cerakote-C finish, and is pinned and welded to extend the barrel to the NFA-required 16". As a result, the DDM4 ISR is not classified as a short barreled rifle and requires only a single tax stamp, for the suppressor.

The suppressor is also user-serviceable, with a baffle core that removes easily for periodic cleaning to maintain peak performance. Up top, the MFR XL 15.0 handguard provides a continuous 1913 Picatinny rail for iron sights or optics, with KeyMod attachment points on the sides and bottom. A Daniel Defense Vertical Grip, independently ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle, ambi safety selector, and the Daniel Defense Buttstock and Pistol Grip round out the build.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

If you want a suppressed 300 BLK without piecing together a host, a mount, and a can, the DDM4 ISR handles all of it in one package. With the suppressor built into the barrel, you never have to think about alignment or a shifting zero, and running subsonic ammo through it is exactly what Daniel Defense built it to do. Since the integral suppressor brings it to 16", you're only dealing with one tax stamp.

We also like that the baffle core is user-serviceable, which matters on a rifle that's suppressed every time you pull the trigger. One thing to keep in mind is that the MFR XL rail uses KeyMod rather than M-LOK, so check your accessories before you order.
