The Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 PRO (model 02-128-16541-047) is a 5.56mm NATO AR-15 style rifle built for competitors in multi-gun matches. It pairs an 18" cold hammer-forged S2W barrel with a rifle-length gas system, a Geissele Automatics Super Dynamic 3-Gun Trigger, and a free-floating Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 M-LOK rail. It weighs 7.40 lbs and measures 34.75" to 37.875" overall with the muzzle device.

Every major component is aimed at speed and control. Daniel Defense's Muzzle Climb Mitigator redirects propellant gases through calibrated ports to counter both recoil and muzzle climb, while the Geissele trigger offers a light, short pull and quick reset. Those features combine with the softer recoil impulse of the rifle-length gas system to deliver shorter split times, more precise follow-up shots, and reduced fatigue.

The MFR 15.0 rail provides an uninterrupted Picatinny top rail and M-LOK attachment points, with enough length for the maximum sight radius when running rail-mounted iron sights. The independently ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle and ambi safety selector accommodate left- and right-handed shooters. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28, so the Muzzle Climb Mitigator can be swapped for a direct thread mount or suppressor-compatible muzzle device. Sights are sold separately.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

If you're getting into 3-gun or multi-gun, the V7 PRO comes set up for it out of the box. The Geissele trigger, rifle-length gas system, and Muzzle Climb Mitigator all work toward the goal Daniel Defense built this rifle around, which is faster splits and quicker follow-up shots without fighting the gun.

It also makes a solid suppressor host. Pull the Muzzle Climb Mitigator, and the 1/2x28 threads are ready for a direct thread can or mount, so any of the 5.56 suppressors in the Compatibility section below will pair up easily. Just plan on adding an optic or sights, since none are included.
