YHM TURBO T3 5.56 SUPPRESSOR
The YHM Turbo T3 builds on the proven Turbo T2 platform with one key improvement: reduced blowback. YHM redesigned the internal baffle geometry and added a Cobalt 6 blast baffle to reduce backpressure, resulting in less gas to the face, smoother cycling, and a cleaner host firearm.
The T3 retains the tubeless 17-4 stainless steel construction that made the Turbo line popular. This design keeps weight at 12.8 oz while maximizing internal volume for sound reduction. At 134 dB on a 14.5" barrel with 55-grain ammunition, the T3 falls within the 140 dB hearing-safe threshold.
The 1-3/8x24 HUB thread pattern provides compatibility with aftermarket mounting systems including Dead Air Key-Mo, SilencerCo ASR, and Plan B by Q.
CAPITOL ARMORY'S TAKE
The Turbo T2 earned a reputation as one of the best value-oriented 5.56 suppressors available. The one consistent criticism was blowback. The T3 directly addresses this with the new Cobalt 6 blast baffle and revised internals. If you run unsuppressed ARs and have been put off by gas-heavy cans, the T3 is worth consideration. The NTOA 2023 certification and YHM's lifetime warranty add confidence to the purchase.

VERSATILITY ON A BUDGET - IMPROVED!
The YHM Turbo T3 takes the great features of the T2, and improves on them. The tubeless design and 17-4 stainless construction remain, but now with an improved 718 Inconel blast baffle that results in reduced blowback when compared to the previous models. The tubeless design keeps the weight down, but the durability and internal volume up. The maximization of internal volume allows the T3 to perform better than many competing silencers with the same footprint.
The Turbo T3 features the widely popular 1-3/8"-24 thread pattern. This allows for use with many aftermarket mounting systems such as the SilencerCo ASR or Dead Air Key-Mo.
CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
The Turbo T2 from YHM is a very popular 5.56 suppressor. It's got a great price, tons of mounting options, and a size-to-suppression ratio that many people love. One of the minor complaints was the blowback. While it wasn't bad, it certainly wasn't great either. Many shooters sensitive to blowback were a bit turned off by the Turbo T2 not being an ultra-low backpressure can. The T3 version improves on this and reduces the amount of backpressure. This allows for less blowback, smoother operation, and a cleaner host firearm.
