PTR VENT 1
The PTR VENT 1 is a 7.62x51mm suppressor built around PTR's patented Purposely Induced Porosity (PIP) technology. PIP uses a precision-engineered titanium foam structure to manage gas expansion throughout the suppressor, reducing both sound signature and backpressure compared to traditional baffle-based designs. The result is less gas in the shooter's face, less component wear, and a cleaner-running weapon.
The entire suppressor is a monolithic, 3D-printed titanium body. There are no separate baffles, tubes, or welded joints. This construction provides structural strength and efficient heat dissipation under sustained fire, including full-auto use. A PVD coating protects the exterior against heat, erosion, and environmental wear.
PEW Science independently tested the VENT 1 on a Savage Model 10 .308 with Federal XM80 ammunition and measured a Suppression Rating of 57.3. PEW Science noted that the VENT 1 outperformed the CGS Hyperion, Dead Air Nomad-L, Diligent Defense Enticer-L, and other high-performing .30 caliber suppressors on that platform.
At 8.74" long and 12.3 oz, the VENT 1 is competitive in weight for its class. The rear threads are HUB (1.375x24), so the included 5/8x24 direct thread adapter can be swapped for KeyMo, Xeno, ASR, Plan-B, and other HUB-compatible mounting systems.
