PRECISION ARMAMENT TITREX 300SD SUPPRESSOR - SEVERE-DUTY INCONEL .30 CALIBER SILENCER
The Precision Armament TiTrex 300SD is the Severe-Duty version of the TiTrex .30 caliber suppressor, built around a 3D-printed Inconel 718 core for high-temperature, high round count firing schedules, including extended full-auto and suppressor cover use. The body measures 5.9" long and 1.65" in diameter and weighs 11.4 oz, or 6.2" and 13.4 oz with the included mount and front cap installed. It covers .30 caliber and under on bolt-action and semi-auto rifles, including 5.56 NATO and 7.62 NATO, and is magnum rated up to .300 RUM (centerfire cartridges with less than 120 grains of powder) with no barrel length restrictions.
Precision Armament designed the 300SD for high-volume precision shooting and training. It carries about 4.2 oz more than the titanium TiTrex 300Ti in exchange for added durability. The Inconel core is rated Heavy/SOCOM for full-auto on 7.62 NATO barrels 12.5" and longer and on 5.56 NATO barrels 10.3" and longer, and Light/Limited on shorter barrels. Heavy/SOCOM covers sustained, high-volume automatic fire, while Light/Limited covers controlled automatic fire in short strings with cooling periods. Every TiTrex is built on Precision Armament's patent-pending X-CORE exchangeable core technology. The serial number is engraved on the XBand, a 17-4 stainless steel containment housing that is permanently retained to the core and supports the stress-critical blast chamber. If the core is ever worn out or damaged, or a next-generation design is released, Precision Armament can replace it at the factory as many times as needed. The original serial number and ATF registration stay the same, so no new NFA paperwork or tax stamp is required for an exchange, and core upgrades also allow changes to caliber, material, or color. Inside, Precision Armament's NURBS (Non-Uniform Reconvergent Baffle Stack) technology uses DMLS-printed, surface-modeled baffles to regulate flow, improve heat transfer, lower sound pressure levels, and minimize first-round pop.
The rear mounts with HUB (1.375x24) threads, and the front accepts SilencerCo Bravo-style front attachments. The 300SD ships with a titanium 5/8x24 direct thread mount, a titanium Universal Front Cap, and Precision Armament's K-Brake Ultracompact Suppressor Brake with CDC technology for recoil reduction with minimal sound tradeoff. CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
The TiTrex 300SD takes the same platform as the rest of the TiTrex line and builds it for harder use. The titanium TiTrex models are all about keeping weight down, while the 300SD switches to an Inconel 718 core made to handle heat, high round counts, and full-auto. The tradeoff is weight. At 11.4 oz for the body, it's about 4.2 oz heavier than the titanium versions, and for a can built to get run hard, that's a trade we think makes a lot of sense.
X-CORE is a great fit for a suppressor like this. Hard-use cans eventually wear, and with the TiTrex your serial number lives on the XBand, so Precision Armament can swap a worn or damaged core at the factory without touching your registration or making you file new paperwork. You can even change caliber, material, or color down the road. One more small perk is that Precision Armament notes the early sparking 3D-printed titanium cores can show during break-in doesn't happen with the Inconel core.
If your shooting involves long strings of fire, high-volume training days, a suppressor cover, or a select-fire 7.62 NATO (.308) or 5.56 NATO host, the 300SD is the TiTrex we'd point you to.
