The Energetic Armament Sonus is a full-auto rated 9mm suppressor built from DFAR-certified, US-made 17-4 H900 stainless steel and weighing just 9.8 ounces. The construction increases internal volume, improves sound attenuation, and accelerates heat transfer without sacrificing durability. At 6.6 inches and 1.55 inches at its widest point, the Sonus is sized for pistols, PCCs, subguns, and lever-action hosts alike. Multi-caliber support covers 9mm, .380 ACP, 300 BLK sub and supersonic, 38/357 Mag, 8.6 BLK subsonic, and 350 Legend under a single tax stamp. The 1.375x24 HUB/Bravo interface opens up the full ecosystem of QD mounts, 3-lug adapters, and even booster assemblies. The patented Serial ID Ring keeps your serial number on a swappable ring rather than the core itself, so a core swap never requires new NFA paperwork. 

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

The Sonus 9 is right at home on PCCs and subguns. The 17-4 H900 stainless steel is DFAR-certified, and the thin-wall geometry is an engineering choice that reduces weight, increases internal volume, and moves heat out faster. That combination is harder to pull off than it sounds, and it shows in the full-auto rating with no barrel length restrictions under 1,000 degrees. The HUB/Bravo 1.375x24 interface allows for mounting flexibility. It means you are not locked into a proprietary mounting ecosystem. This includes pistols with a booster assembly, PCCs directly threaded on, and subguns via 3-lug.

 The Serial ID Ring is also a smart choice. Core service on a traditional suppressor means paperwork, wait times, and headaches. On the Sonus, the serial lives on the ring and the core swaps independently. That is an advantage that does not show up in a spec sheet but matters when something eventually needs attention. At this weight, with this material spec and mounting flexibility, the Sonus is one of the more complete 9mm suppressor packages available.
