Energetic Armament Sonus 9K

The Energetic Armament Sonus 9K is a compact 9mm suppressor built from 17-4 stainless steel heat-treated to H900 condition. At 8.2 ounces with the direct thread mount installed, it adds minimal weight to PCCs, subguns, and pistols. The 5.05-inch overall length keeps the package short enough for use on PDWs and compact hosts.

Beyond 9mm, the Sonus 9K suppresses .380 ACP, .38 Special, .357 Magnum, .350 Legend, 338 ARC, subsonic 8.6 Blackout, and .300 Blackout (both subsonic and supersonic). This makes it a practical choice for lever actions, bolt guns, and pistol caliber rifles in addition to handguns and subguns.

The removable front cap includes a wipe holder. Installing a silicone wipe creates a seal around exiting projectiles, reducing sound further on subsonic loads. Remove the wipe for supersonic or sustained fire. The suppressor ships with a 1/2x28 direct thread mount and uses the 1.375x24 HUB mount pattern, making it compatible with 3-lug adapters, piston boosters, and quick-detach systems from Dead Air, SilencerCo, and others.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S TAKE

The Sonus 9K fills the gap between dedicated pistol cans and full-size subgun suppressors. At just over 8 ounces, it handles the recoil impulse on locked-breech pistols without a booster (though adding one is recommended for tilting barrel designs). The multi-caliber rating makes it useful for more than range toys. Pair it with a lever action in .357 Magnum or a bolt gun in .350 Legend for a lightweight hunting setup. For shooters who want more suppression and don't mind the extra length, the full-size Sonus 9 offers the same caliber compatibility at 6.6 inches and 9.8 ounces.
