ENERGETIC ARMAMENT NYX MOD2 SUPPRESSOR - MODULAR, TITANIUM, .22LR TO 5.7X28MM

The Energetic Armament Nyx Mod2 is a modular, all-titanium suppressor for rimfire pistols and rifles, rated for .22LR, .22WMR, .17HMR, and FN 5.7x28mm, with a full-auto rating on .22LR. It reconfigures between a short 4-baffle configuration that measures 3.7" and weighs 2.45 oz and a full 8-baffle configuration that measures 6.5" and weighs 4.15 oz. The Nyx Mod2 is the lightest all-titanium suppressor in its class.

Every component is machined from DFAR-certified 6Al-4V (Grade 5) titanium. The 1" diameter outer tube uses Energetic Armament's patented aerospace-style weight-reduction webbing, a design built for rigidity at minimal weight. The Nyx Mod2 threads directly onto 1/2-28 RH muzzles and is offered in Natural Titanium (SKU EA02) or Cerakote Graphite Black (SKU EA03).

Energetic Armament recommends cleaning the Nyx Mod2 every 500 to 1,000 rounds. It's user serviceable, with removable end caps that have a 13/16" hex, and because titanium is chemically inert, it can be cleaned with aggressive solvents and cleaning solutions that would damage aluminum or stainless suppressors.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

Being able to run the Nyx Mod2 short or full length is the big draw here. Put it in the short 4-baffle setup and you've got a 2.45 oz can that barely changes how a rimfire pistol handles. When you want maximum sound reduction on a rifle or a long range day, add the other four baffles and run it full length. Most rimfire suppressors lock you into one length, so getting both options in a single can is a real plus.

That webbed outer tube isn't just for looks, either. Energetic Armament designed it to shed weight while keeping the tube rigid, which is how they get an all-titanium can this light without giving up durability. Titanium also doesn't need a coating to hold up, so the Natural Titanium finish is ready to go out of the box, and the Graphite Black Cerakote is there if you just like the look.

Rimfire ammo is filthy, and this can is built with that in mind. Titanium handles aggressive solvents and cleaning methods that would wreck an aluminum can, so you can soak it and scrub it without worrying about it. Clean it every 500 to 1,000 rounds and it'll keep running the way it should.
