The NYX Mod 2 from Energetic Armament is a modular titanium rimfire suppressor built for shooters who want full-size suppression with the option to drop down to a compact configuration. Machined from 100% titanium, it weighs just 2.45 ounces in the short 3.7 inch configuration and 4.15 ounces at 6.5 inches full size. The NYX Mod 2 is rated for 22LR full-auto fire, along with 22WMR, 17HMR, and FN 5.7x28mm, and mounts via a standard 1/2x28 direct thread. It's available in a natural dark gray titanium finish or a Graphite Black Cerakote finish. Both end caps remove without special tools, making the NYX Mod 2 easy to service between uses.

The exterior fluting on the NYX isn't just cosmetic. It's cut to shed weight and add strength at the same time, which is how Energetic Armament gets a full titanium suppressor down to 2.45 ounces in the short configuration without giving up durability. Being able to swap between short and full length on the same can gives you flexibility most rimfire suppressors don't offer.

Titanium's natural corrosion resistance means the NYX doesn't need a coating to hold up, though the Graphite Black Cerakote option is there if you want the look. Rimfire ammo is dirty, and this suppressor is built for that reality. Both end caps come off without specialized tools, and because titanium tolerates aggressive solvents and cleaning methods that would damage an aluminum can, you're not limited in how you clean it. Plan on servicing it every 500 to 1,000 rounds to keep it running well.
