NYX MOD2 MODULAR TITANIUM SILENCER
The NYX Mod 2 from Energetic Armament is a modular version of the original Nyx. It retails the high-end suppression in a light-weight package but is also modular. This lets the shooter alternate between full-size and compact versions. The short version weighs just 2.45 ounces and raises to 4.15 ounces in the full size. While most shooters will use the NYX Mod 2 for 22LR, it's also rated for 22WMR, 17HMR, and FN 5.7.
The exterior design of the NYX isn't just for looks. It allows for additional strength and weight reduction. The EA NYX is available in a natural matte dark gray finish or an optional Graphite Black cerakote.
The natural properties of titanium allow it to be highly corrosion-resistant. While no coasting is needed, the optional cerakote finish is for those who prefer a black finish. Because rimfire shooting is dirty, cleaning every 500-1000 rounds is necessary. The NYX can be cleaned with aggressive solvents and methods without damaging the suppressor. Unlike aluminum suppressors, this allows the ultra-light NYX to be cleaned with various techniques. Both end caps are removable without special tools.
