The wiped front cap system gives you two operational modes. Install with the included wipe for maximum sound suppression on subsonic loads, or run without the wipe to reduce backpressure on semi-automatic firearms. The wipe gradually erodes with use, maintaining optimal bore alignment while dampening sound signature.
