BOSS CHAIRMAN TI-K SUPPRESSOR - 6" TITANIUM .30 CALIBER SILENCER, FULL-AUTO RATED

The BOSS Chairman Ti-K is a lightweight titanium version of BOSS's compact 6" Chairman K, a .30 caliber rifle suppressor built for 7.62mm/.308 rifles. It weighs 8.9 oz without a mount and measures 1.5" in diameter, using Grade 5 6Al4V titanium baffles, mount, and cap, a Grade 9 titanium tube, and a 17-4 H900 stainless steel blast baffle. The Chairman Ti-K is full-auto rated, carries no barrel-length restrictions, and wears a Glacier Black High Temp Cerakote finish rated to 1,800 degrees F.

Suppression comes from BOSS's proprietary Nikola Tesla-inspired, coaxially-vented baffles, which keep gases moving through the can longer than a standard baffle configuration and reduce overall report compared to silencers of similar size. That design pairs well with more than full-power .308 loads. BOSS specifically highlights subsonic 300 Blackout as a strong fit for the Chairman K, especially on rifles that already run a short barrel.

Capitol Armory's Chairman Ti-K ships with a 5/8x24 direct thread mount and BOSS's Standard end cap, the option BOSS designates for non-gas-blowback actions such as bolt guns and piston-operated rifles. The suppressor uses the HUB (1.375x24) thread pattern, so it also works with any HUB-compatible mount, including the SilencerCo Bravo ASR Mount, Dead Air KeyMo Adapter, and Plan B by Q Suppressor Adapter.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

Going short on a .30 cal can almost always costs you something. Chop a few inches off and the rifle handles better, but suppression usually takes a hit compared to a full 7" or 8" can. BOSS built the Chairman K to fight that, and they're confident enough to claim the best suppression of any 6" x 1.5" silencer, thanks to coaxially-vented baffles that hold gas in the can longer than a typical stack. The Ti-K takes that same idea and drops the weight down to 8.9 oz.

That weight savings is the whole reason to pick this one. If you're carrying a 7.62x51mm (.308) bolt gun up and down hills on a hunt, every ounce on the end of the barrel matters, and a 6" titanium can keeps the rifle balanced and easy to shoulder. Same story for SBR owners. You went short for a reason, and the Ti-K lets you add suppression without undoing that by hanging a long, heavy can off the muzzle. It's also a great match for short 300 Blackout setups.

Not everyone needs to shave every ounce, though. If you'd like a little extra durability and don't mind some added weight, we'd point you to the BOSS Chairman K. It's the same 6" can built with 17-4 H900 stainless steel baffles, mount, and cap, and it comes in at 12 oz without a mount. For a rifle that spends more time at the range than on your shoulder, the stainless version is a solid trade.
