The Thunder Beast Dominus SR is a compact all-titanium .30 caliber rifle suppressor with a tubeless design and a 360-degree fully welded baffle core. The SR version uses Thunder Beast's Secondary Retention mounting system and is full-auto rated. It is rated for magnum and SBR use.

The Dominus SR uses Thunder Beast's Secondary Retention mounting system and requires a TBAC SR muzzle device to mount. SR muzzle devices are not interchangeable with TBAC's CB taper mounts.

TITANIUM HARD USE AND PRECISION
The Dominus SR from Thunder Beast is a high-performance hard-use suppressor designed for both 5.56 and .7.62. The goals behind the Dominus SR were to create a full-auto suppressor from light-weight titanium similar to the Ultra series. While rated for full-auto, it maintains the accuracy and repeatability Thunder Beast is known for. It's right at home on both a MK18 and precision bolt gun.
The 6.95-inch Dominus SR comes in at 126 dB at the shooters ear with 308, and below hearing safe at the muzzle. These numbers put the Dominus-SR between the Ultra 7 and Ultra 9 in terms of performance while being shorter than the Ultra 7. The additional volume is achieved through a larger diameter and tubeless design.
The "SR" in Dominus SR stands for Secondary Retention. A quick-attach/detach mount provides both a taper surface for precision rifles, and a secondary retention to ensure the suppressor does not back off under hard use. The Dominus SR is rated for a "Hard-Use/Full-Auto" firing schedule. Thunder Beast specifies this as surviving at least 10 cycles of the SOCOM/SURG firing schedule.
CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
The Dominus SR from TBAC brings something new to the table. Thunder Beast is well known for their ultra-light weight precision rifle suppressors. Thunder Beast's Ultra series is a staple for many PRS shooters. For a while, many semi-automatic shooters loved TBAC suppressors for their weight but wanted something they could abuse more. Enter the Dominus SR. While it's still sub 13 ounces, it's also full auto rated and shorter than the Ultra 7. The performance in terms of decibel reduction is superior to the Ultra 7, but not quite as good as their full size Ultra 9. The Dominus SR should be looked at by anyone wanting a durable, light weight suppressor that sounds better than it should for it's size.
