SILENCERCO SALVO 12 SHOTGUN SUPPRESSOR - CONFIGURABLE 12 GAUGE SILENCER, 6" THROUGH 12"

The SilencerCo Salvo 12 is the world's first commercially viable shotgun suppressor, purpose-built for 12 gauge and configurable between 6", 8", 10", and 12" lengths. It mounts via a choke-based system compatible with most shotguns and uses an internal rod-and-baffle design that contains the blast while preserving wad function after it exits the barrel. In the full 12" configuration, the Salvo 12 reduces the report of a shotgun to below 140 dB, quieter than an unsuppressed .22 LR. It also significantly reduces perceived recoil. The Salvo 12 is sold in the 12" configuration with the 12" Rod Kit included; additional rod kits to shorten the suppressor to 10", 8", or 6" are available separately and are end-user installable. Choke adapters are available for most shotguns. If you are looking for a shotgun suppressor that works across pump-action and semi-automatic platforms with adjustable length to suit hunting, home defense, or sport shooting, the Salvo 12 is the only commercially available option built for that role.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

The Salvo 12 combines versatility with performance across its four length configurations. The 12" configuration is impressively quiet, and the 8" and 10" lengths are excellent for hunting where a shorter profile matters more than maximum noise reduction. The 6" configuration is best suited for defensive use on short-barrel shotguns where maneuverability is the priority. We have run the Salvo 12 on both pump-action and semi-automatic platforms without issues. 

Pairing the Salvo 12 with a Browning Maxus or Beretta A400 makes for a genuinely enjoyable dove hunt without traditional hearing protection. The modular rod-and-baffle system also makes cleanup straightforward, which matters on a shotgun suppressor that sees real field use.
