THE OSPREY 45K VERSION HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED
A lighter and shorter version of the Osprey 45, and still hearing safe.
The SilencerCo Osprey uses a monocore baffle design inside a polygonal housing, allowing the user to use their existing factory sights while maintaining the benefits of a larger internal volume. A patented cam locking system allows the SilencerCo Osprey to index to the correct position, and retain that position between mounting and removal. In addition to pistol cartridges, the SilencerCo Osprey is also rated for subsonic 300 Blackout ammunition. Use of the SilencerCo Osprey on a fixed barrel, such as an AR-15, requires the use of a fixed barrel spacer.
High performance and multi-caliber capabilities of the SilencerCo Osprey make it one of the most popular silencers on the market today. The SilencerCo Osprey features a unique booster, or Nielsen device, that allows for proper cycling with all relevant semi-automatic handguns. All versions of the Osprey utilize the same booster dimensions, so the user is able to interchange the piston portion for different calibers or thread specifications.
The SilencerCo Osprey K 45 weighs only 8.0 ounces, and is 3.1 ounces lighter than the Osprey 45. The length has been reduced to 6.41", compared to the full size version at 8.06".

Like it's larger brother, the Osprey 45, the 45K allows shooters to utilize the factory sights on a pistol. It's eccentric design allows for needed volume, without completely obstructing the sight picture. The Osprey 45K is the same diameter, however it is over an inch and a half shorter than the full size. A substancial amount of pistol shooters value both a compact suppressor and good sight picture. For these people, the Osprey 45K is a solid option for suppression.
