VIRTUALLY NO BACKPRESSURE
For 2022, Sig Sauer has completely revamped their silencer lineup to meet the demands of the military, law enforcement, and the most demanding shoots out there. The SLX series focuses on having less blowback than the competition. This allows for firearms to cycle properly without additional tuning, stay cleaning for longer, enhance reliability when suppressed, and prevent toxic gasses from being vented into the shooters face. This is especially important with certain firearms that are sensitive to backpressure, such as the IWI Tavor, Scar 17, or larger frame AR's in odd chamberings. The SLX series is available in titanium and Inconel variants, allowing the user to choose a lighter silencer or one geared for harder use.
A flash reducing endcap has been designed to minimalize visual signature and enhance operation in low-light conditions or when used with night vision.
The direct thread system features the same taper found on all modern Sig Sauer rifles ensuring a perfect lock-up. Wrench flats were added to the mounting area on the SLH to make sure the silencer can be installed tight enough, and also to assist for removal if over-tightened.
The QD version is set up with Sig's new Clutch-LOK QD system. The Clutch-LOK system features an intuitive tactile locking ring with infinite radial locking positions.
For those looking at decibel reduction as a top priority, Sig Sauer's SLH line is available.
