Rugged built the Mustang 22 by taking what worked on the Oculus and cutting the weight in half. At 1.9 ounces in short configuration, this is one of the lightest NFA suppressors you can own in any category, not just rimfire. The modular design allows for customization depending on your needs.  The short configuration keeps the package compact and lightweight for hunting or packable builds, while the long configuration adds extra sound reduction when you want it. The keyed baffles with integrated gas seal solve the single biggest complaint rimfire suppressor owners have, which is a can that seizes up after a few hundred rounds of dirty .22 LR and requires a vice to open. The Mustang 22 is also a strong choice if you are introducing new shooters to the sport. The combination of low weight, minimal recoil calibers, and genuine sound suppression makes for a comfortable and approachable shooting experience.
