LS5 FULL-SIZE 5.56 SUPPRESSION
The LS5 from Radical Defense is an innovative take on the 5.56 rifle silencer. It achieves next to no blowback through its unique 3D-printed design. Unlike many other low-blowback silencers, the LS5 is still remarkably quiet at the ear and the muzzle. The LS5 is a standard size for those shooters looking for maximum decibel reduction that can be used in all environments. The corrosion-resistant construction means the LS5 can be used in salt-water-heavy environments without risk to the suppressor. This suppressor is non-reflective for those operating in hostile conditions at night and less visible to adversaries with night observation devices.
Blowback is one of the negative aspects of suppressed firearms. Toxic gas being directed to the shooter, excessive wear-and-tear on the host firearm, increased recoil, increased fouling, increased bolt velocity, and reliability issues can be found when a weapon is over-gassed with a traditional silencer. The LS5 uses Radical Defense's Forward Venting Breathable Technology to reduce and often wholly resolve these issues. The Radical Defense LS5 uses the HUB/Bravo/Omega mounting thread pattern. This allows for the installation of numerous mounting solutions. SilencerCo ASR, Dead Air KeyMo, Dead Air Xeno, Plan-B by Q, and many others can be used with the LS5. If you don't require a specific mount and want to keep things simple, it ships with a minimal taper mount and 1/2x28 muzzle device. This lets shooters keep things easy and straightforward or configure the silencer for their specific needs. It's the best of both words - adaptability and simplicity.
The LS5 is available in two versions. Haynes is a cobalt-alloy for those needing an ultra-durable solution ideal for SBRs or select-fire weapons. The titanium version weighs significantly less and is perfect for anyone who needs a lightweight suppressor.
