PWS BDE9-TI SUPPRESSOR - MODULAR 3D PRINTED TITANIUM PISTOL SILENCER, 9MM TO .300 BLK SUBSONIC
The Primary Weapons Systems (PWS) BDE9-TI is a modular 9mm suppressor built around a 3D printed titanium core and rated up to .300 BLK subsonic. Its core baffles are additively manufactured from Grade 5 6AL-4V titanium, and it ships with removable aluminum modular baffles that let you change overall length and noise reduction. The BDE9-TI measures 5.1" to 6.26" long and 1.45" in diameter, weighs 8.0 to 9.2 oz, and uses a 1.125x28 rear thread, also known as Alpha. PWS model number MP01-1F.
With 9mm and .300 BLK subsonic ratings, the BDE9-TI suits 9mm handguns, pistol-caliber carbines (PCCs), and .300 BLK short barrel rifles running subsonic ammunition. A 1/2x28 piston and spring come in the box for pistol use. The 1.125x28 Alpha thread also accepts fixed barrel spacers, direct thread mounts, and 3-lug mounts, so the same can moves to a fixed-barrel host with parts like the Rugged Obsidian Fixed Barrel Spacer, SilencerCo Alpha Direct Thread Mount, or Rugged Obsidian 3-Lug Mount.
PWS applies a DLC coating to the entrance chamber and main body, while the aluminum modular baffles are Mil-A-8625 Type III Class 2 hard coat anodized. Taper-threaded baffles prevent carbon locking and loosening between baffles, and the low back-pressure baffle design reduces gas blowback. Symmetrical internal baffle notches increase accuracy, and exterior textures help dissipate heat mirage. The BDE9-TI is user serviceable.
CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
We see the PWS BDE9-TI as a good fit for 9mm shooters who want one suppressor for both a pistol and a PCC. The included 1/2x28 piston gets it running on a handgun right away, and the subsonic .300 BLK rating means it can follow you onto a short barrel rifle too.
The 1.125x28 Alpha thread makes it easy to set up for whatever host you're running, with pistons, fixed barrel mounts, and 3-lug mounts from SilencerCo and Rugged all available. Add the modular baffles, which let you trade length for sound reduction, and you get a titanium can under 10 oz that's worth a look if you shoot 9mm across more than one firearm.
