PWS BDE22-TI SUPPRESSOR - 4.2 OZ 3D PRINTED TITANIUM RIMFIRE SILENCER, .22 LR TO 5.7X28MM
The Primary Weapons Systems (PWS) BDE22-TI is a 3D printed titanium rimfire suppressor rated for .22 LR up to 5.7x28mm. It measures 5.6" long and 1" in diameter, weighs 4.2 oz, and threads directly onto standard 1/2x28 muzzle threads.
The BDE22-TI suits rimfire pistols and rifles, as well as 5.7x28mm pistols and PDWs. Hosts that don't use 1/2x28 threads can run it with a thread adapter such as the SilencerCo FN 5.7 Adapter or CMMG FNH PS90 Thread Adapter.
A removable monocore makes the BDE22-TI user serviceable, and taper-threaded baffles prevent carbon locking and loosening between baffles. PWS applies a DLC coating inside and out for a durable, easy-to-clean finish. In PEW Science testing on a Beretta 21A pistol with a 2.4" barrel and CCI Standard Velocity 40gr ammunition, the BDE22-TI earned a composite Suppression Rating of 83.9.
CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
We think the PWS BDE22-TI makes sense for anyone who wants one rimfire can that can also handle a 5.7x28mm pistol or PDW. At 4.2 oz, it adds very little weight to the front of a .22 pistol or a lightweight rifle, and the direct 1/2x28 thread keeps setup simple.
Rimfire ammo is dirty, so cleaning matters on any .22 can. The removable monocore and the DLC coating inside and out are there to make that job easier, and the taper-threaded baffles help keep carbon from locking things up between cleanings.
