The Hi-Point Hush-Point 22 is a lightweight rimfire suppressor rated for six calibers, from .17 Mach 2 up to .22 WMR, including .22 Short, .22 LR, .17 HMR, and .17 WSM. Its body, monolithic baffle, and muzzle cap are machined from 7075 aluminum, and the host cap is 17-4 stainless steel threaded 1/2x28. The Hush-Point 22 measures 6.19" long and 1.000" in diameter, and it weighs 4.9 oz, making it a practical fit for rimfire pistols, plinking rifles, and small-game hunting rigs.

Mounting is direct thread. The Hush-Point 22 threads straight onto a 1/2x28 barrel with a 90-degree shoulder and is hand-tightened, with no tools required under normal conditions. Hi-Point recommends checking that the suppressor is secure before shooting and between strings of fire. Cleaning is simple thanks to a symmetrical four-piece monocore design. Both end caps have 13/16" wrench flats, and once they're off, the monolithic baffle pushes out of the body. The Hush-Point 22 is fully user serviceable, and Hi-Point recommends cleaning every 500 to 1,000 rounds, more often with dirtier ammunition. Skip the ultrasonic cleaner, since Hi-Point warns it can damage aluminum components. Shot-style ammunition, including .22 shotshells, should never be fired through the suppressor.

The Hush-Point 22 is built for shooters who want a quiet rimfire setup without spending more than they need to. Hi-Point kept the recipe simple, and honestly, that's the appeal. It covers six rimfire calibers, weighs next to nothing, and comes apart easily when it's time to clean out the lead and carbon that rimfire ammo is known for.

Most budget rimfire cans are single-caliber or .22 LR only. If your safe includes a .17 HMR or .17 WSM rifle, the list of aluminum suppressors that cover all of them gets short in a hurry, and the Hush-Point 22 is one of the most affordable options on it. One can for your .22 LR pistol, your .22 WMR rifle, and your .17 HMR is a lot easier on the wallet than buying three.

The aluminum construction is what keeps the weight and price down, but there's a trade-off. We wouldn't pick this can for long strings of hot ammo on a semi-auto host. For plinkers, small-game hunters, and rimfire competitors running a .22 LR pistol or rifle at a measured pace, that won't matter, and we think you'll find very little to complain about.
