The Griffin Armament RSTA OTB (Over the Barrel) Silencer is suited to the shooter who wants the least amount of gas blowback in semi-automatic systems and the best sound suppression with minimal addition to weapon system length. Griffin's over the barrel mounts are rock solid and provide minimal and repeatable point of impact shift.
Additionally this mounting system reduces fouling due to its low back pressure design and tends to negate the need for tuning gas systems in semi auto systems for reliable operation. The RSTA also features Griffin's Patent Pending baffle technology which offers unparalleled reduction of sound both at the muzzle and at the ejection port in semi auto firearms for balanced, and optimized system performance. The RSTA is CNC machined, and Tig fusion welded for maximum thermal transfer and unparalleled strength and durability. The RSTA is manufactured from high strength, high temperature, corrosion resistant 17-4ph stainless steel. The RSTA suppressor features Griffin's flawless bore technology for maximum accuracy and fully blueprinted tolerances.

Many shooters want the performance of a full length suppressor, however they really can't deal with the added length of a traditional 9"-10" can hanging off the front of their rifle. This holds true in both full-size long guns and short-barrel rifles. The RSTA is an Over the Barrel design, where the suppressor extends rearward of the muzzle as well as in front of it. This allows extra volume inside the suppressor without a few extra inches on the front. The RSTA also focuses on being very low backpressure, resulting in a smoother cycling weapon with less blowback to the shooter. Griffin's RSTA is a great additional to the small world of OTB (or Reflex) design suppressors.
