9MM SUPPRESSION WITH LIMITED RIFLE USE
The Revolution 9 mod 3 suppressor from Griffin Armament is a versatile, durable, fully featured pistol suppressor. It's configurable, modular design lets the user adapt the suppressor to their needs. By removing the external booster housing, the booster can be collapsed into the silencer tube to create a shortened (K) configuration.
The Revolution 9 can be fully disassembled for cleaning or reconfiguration. Because there is no proprietary tool to break down the suppressor, it can be serviced anytime or anywhere. The Return to Zero baffles are coated with TiN, providing for a long life and easy cleaning, as well as always returning to the same orientation when installed into the suppressor tube.
In additional pistols, the Griffin Armament Revolution 9 can be used with a fixed barrel spacer on 300 Blackout (subsonic) rifles, or 9mm carbines. For subgun use, such as the MP5, a 3 lug assembly is available. The new mod 3 versions support limited rates of fire on center fire rifle rounds.
CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
The Revolution 9 from Griffin is an extremely versatile pistol suppressor. While it can do quite a few different things, it's not as versatile as suppressors like the Griffin Optimus. With that being said, it also doesn't suffer from the negative that multi-caliber silencers tend to have. It remains light weight, affordable, and with a small footprint. The configuration options between a short and full size length are designed to be semi-permanent. This allows for hard use without fear of modules or parts loosening up under fire. In addition to pistol use, Griffin has rated the new Revolution's for light use on rifle. This works out well if the shooter desires a pistol can, but may be it on some rifles occasionally for things like hunting. If you are after a 9mm pistol silencer that can do just a bit more than the others on the market, the Revolution 9 should be on the list.
