Griffin Armament M4SD II

The Griffin Armament M4SD II was designed from a seven-year program to provide the shooter with a durable, high-performance, and versatile suppressor for semi-auto 5.56 rifles. Because of its minimal back pressure design, it offers best in class balance of muzzle and ejection port sound reduction without excessive weight or size.

The M4SD II mounts to both A2 style muzzle devices and Griffin Armament's proprietary M4SD Hammer Comp mount. The lack of ratcheting parts allows the M4SD II to be mounted and unmounted frequently without excessive wear on the muzzle device or suppressor. The integrated flash suppressor front cap helps reduce flash signature.

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

The M4SD II excels in three main categories. The first, perhaps most apparent, is its ability to mount to A2-style muzzle devices. Although using Griffin's mounts will ensure the best fitment, the ability to mount to USGI spec A2 birdcages and other compatible muzzle devices makes the suppressor future-proof, compatible with many rifles out of the box, and unnecessary to buy extra expensive muzzle devices. The second aspect is its full-size 5.56 sound suppressor. It does excellent in reducing audio signature, as one would expect. The last strength is the endcap, explicitly designed to minimize flash. This assists in shooting in low light or under night vision. The M4SD II was intended to be right at home on a battle-ready rifle.
