The Griffin GP-N (also known as the GP-NATO) is an extremely durable and tough 5.56 silencer.  It's unique mounting system lets it attach directly to an A2 compensator, which is on nearly all factory AR-15 rifles.  The compensator has served the United States military well for decades, and is on nearly every law enforcement duty rifle in the country.  The GP-N is made to bring modern suppression onto an A2 mountable class.  While there are a few other silencers that can mount to A2 comps, none utilize cutting-edge technology like the GP-N.   

17-4 stainless steel is used for construction along with full H900 heat treatment to increase strength and service life.  The mounting system is QPQ nitrided for corrosion resistance, and the body of the suppressor is finished with Cerakote for a heat resistant finish.  Griffin's ECO-FLO technology ensures the baffles preform well without additional and unnecessary blowback.  This optimizes the balance between muzzle sound pressure levels and what the shooter hears at the hear.
