STRONG AND QUIET - WITHOUT THE WEIGHT

The Explorr 244 from Griffin Armament was built with strength in mind, while keeping the silencer quiet.  Years of research and development went into the design, resulting in a refined tubeless system.  This removes the weight from a silencer with a traditional outer tube, as well as increasing volume.   The Explorr 224 has no minimum barrel length and can handle full-auto 5.56 use with ease.  Even with this durability, it's still lighter than most titanium silencers with a fraction of the toughness.

While it's built for .223/5.56, it can also suppress 22-250.  It's ideal for a AR-15, but can handle a bolt action hunting rifle with ease.

Available in two versions, the Explorr ET2 uses a traditional fixed taper mount.  It's everything users know and love from Griffin's rifle suppressor lineup.  The Explorr EU2 takes advantage of their new "Utility Mount" system allowing for the taper mount system out of the box, but it can be swapped to use any "Bravo" 1.375x24 style mounting system.  

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

The Explorr 224 is Griffin's offering to the light-weight tubeless designs currently popular.  This maximizes internal volume and allows for significant weight reduction.  At only 11.6 ounces, it's lighter than most suppressors on the market, and certainly lighter than almost all in it's class.  The taper mount design allows it to move easily between rifles as well.  The Explorr 224 is ideal for things like predator hunting where smaller calibers are common and weight matters.  With all this, it still comes in at a lesser price point than many other offerings.
