Griffin Armament Suppressors
Griffin Armament's current lineup comes down to six families: Recce, Dual-Lok, HRT, Optimus, Explorr and Bushwhacker. Most Griffin suppressors come in more than one mount, so it helps to pick the mount first. Taper Mount is Griffin's quick-detach mount that seats on a Griffin Taper Mount muzzle device. Dual-Lok is an active-locking mount with no ratcheting parts, built for repeatable point of impact and so the suppressor doesn't loosen during long strings of fire. Utility Mount is Griffin's name for HUB (1.375x24), so it takes HUB mounts you already own. Models marked AM have a 3D-printed core made from Griffin's Nickel 625X alloy.
The Recce family is Griffin's full-auto rated duty line on the Taper Mount, with an Inconel blast baffle. The Recce 5 Mod 6 and Recce 5K Mod 6 are for 5.56, and the 5K has no barrel length restrictions for short-barreled ARs. The Recce 7 Mod 6 covers .30 cal up to .300 Win Mag.
The Dual-Lok 5 and Dual-Lok 7 are lightweight, low back pressure suppressors for 5.56 and 7.62. The HRT family is the hard-use version, tuned for even lower back pressure, and includes the Dual-Lok HRT 556, HRT-556 AM, HRT-5K AM and HUB Dual-Lok 7 AM. The Optimus 6 is a full-auto rated 5.56 and 6mm suppressor that comes in all three mounts, and the Optimus Micro handles rimfire from .22 LR to 5.7x28.
For hunting, the Explorr 224 and Explorr 300 are Griffin's lightweight suppressors for bolt guns and gas guns in .22 and .30 cal. If you want one suppressor for your hunting rifle, your AR and your handgun, the Bushwhacker family covers it. The Bushwhacker 46 2.0 is rated up to .45-70 Government on rifles and .45 ACP on pistols, and the Bushwhacker 36 goes up to .338 Lapua Magnum on rifles and 9mm on pistols.
