At approximately 10 oz and 6.5 inches overall length, the Texas Flood covers 5.56 through .30 cal configurations in a single suppressor. Most titanium suppressors at this weight class arrive with an asterisk. They are light, but the internal geometry is a compromise, or the construction process limits how aggressive the baffle design can be. DMLS changes that equation. Fletcher Rifle Works uses direct metal laser sintering to build the Texas Flood, which means the internal geometry is not constrained by what a cutting tool can reach. The result is a suppressor that hits around 10 oz while still being engineered to handle the pressures of centerfire rifle cartridges rather than just looking impressive on a scale. Fletcher Rifle Works is a smaller name in the suppressor market, and that is worth acknowledging.
