The Fletcher Rifle Works Taquito 22 is a direct-thread .22LR suppressor built from 6061 aluminum and a 17-4 stainless steel blast baffle, weighing just 3.5 ounces at 5.75 inches overall. It threads directly onto any 1/2x28 .22LR barrel and disappears on the gun, whether you are running a rifle or a rimfire pistol. The six-baffle K-baffle stack is fully user-serviceable for cleaning, and the 17-4 stainless blast baffle protects the aluminum body from the initial round's heat and pressure. Fletcher Rifle Works built their name on rimfire. Their OpenTop 10/22 receiver is one of the more innovative products in the rimfire space, and that same attention to how rimfire guns actually work carries into the Taquito. Most all-aluminum rimfire cans at this size and weight are fine until they are not. The 17-4 stainless blast baffle changes that equation. The first baffle position is where rimfire fouling and heat do the most damage over time, and using the same grade of steel found in demanding precision components helps long-term durability. The K-baffle stacks alignment grooves are a smart idea.
