ENERGETIC ARMAMENT FEROX 5.56 SUPPRESSOR - FULL-AUTO RATED 5.56MM SILENCER, RADIAL BAFFLE, FLASH-MITIGATING FRONT CAP

The Energetic Armament Ferox is a full-auto rated 5.56mm suppressor built from 17-4 stainless steel heat-treated to H900 condition, weighing 12.5 ounces at 5.9 inches overall. Designed specifically for 5.56 platforms, the Ferox performs on short and mid-length barrels including SBRs and select-fire hosts. Its radial gas bleed-off chamber reduces backpressure compared to conventional baffle stacks, resulting in less gas to the shooter's face, reduced host wear, and improved sound reduction at the ear. The removable front cap features functional flash-reducing tines for low-light and night-vision use. Caliber support extends from 5.56mm and .223 Rem through 5.45x39, 5.7x28, 224 Valkyrie, and 6mm ARC. The 1.375x24 HUB/Bravo rear thread gives access to the full range of industry-standard QD mounts, and a 1/2x28 direct thread adapter is included. 

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

The 5.56 suppressor market is competitive, and the Ferox earns its place in it. At 12.5 ounces and under 6 inches, it is compact and light for a full-auto rated rifle can built entirely from 17-4 H900 stainless. A lot of lightweight 5.56 suppressors achieve that weight by using less durable materials or using thinner construction that limits their full-auto rating. The Ferox is rated for hard use with no such caveat, which matters if you are running it on a select-fire host, FRT, or pushing high round counts. Short barrels already generate excess backpressure, and a suppressor that does not address that compounds the problem. The Ferox's design bleeds gas radially before it can cycle back through the action, which translates to a cleaner and more comfortable shooting experience over a sustained range session. The flash-hiding front cap is a welcomed addition that most 5.56 suppressors skip entirely. Suppressors are not inherently flash-free, and on short barrels, the flash signature can actually increase. The Ferox addresses that at the hardware level rather than leaving it to the shooter to solve separately. Combined with HUB/Bravo mounting compatibility and a direct thread adapter in the box, this is a well-rounded 5.56 package from a manufacturer whose material spec and build quality punches above its price point.
