Introducing Dead Air's 5.56 silencer, the Sierra 5.  Dead Air's mission has always been to give No Quarter in design, performance, and technology.  The Sierra 5 takes this into account, and gives shooters everything they have been asking for in a dedicated 5.56 silencer.

Built with professionals in mind, there is no compromise to durability, flash suppression, or decibel reduction.   It still maintains a small footprint, and minimal weight.  As many shooters desire different types of mounting options, the Dead Air Sierra 5 is HUB compatible (1.375"x24) to accept a variety of mounts.  I can be configured to the users specific needs, and is available in both Xeno and Key-Mo versions out of the box.  

As with Dead Air's other hard-use silencers, it features welded Stellite baffles.  The Sierra 5 is then wrapped with a stainless outer tube for extra support.  Visually it is a clean, utilitarian knurled design that provides both form and function.  

The Dead Air Sierra 5 is compatible with Dead Air Key-Mo (Omega), SilencerCo Omega / Hybrid ASR,  Plan B by Q, and any other mounting systems that fit the SilencerCo Omega, SilencerCo Hybrid, or Energetic Armament VOX.  This allows the shooter to adapt the Sierra 5 to whatever mounting system they see fit for a specific task or rifle.  Additionally, the Dead Air Sierra 5 uses Sandman Front Caps, Flash Hider Front Caps and is compatible with the Dead Air E-Brake.

The Sierra 5 is one of the silencers that doesn't really need explanations, sales pitches, or much at all said about it.  Dead Air took everything that people have been asking for and delivered.  Flash hiding front cap by default, mounting options for any specific task, no barrel length restrictions, and still not too big or heavy.   It's simply a check list of what folks need in a modern day 5.56 silencer.  Unless you've got some very unusual needs, the Dead Air Sierra 5 will surely cover all the bases for 5.56 use.
