Jonathan Arthur Ciener, widely regarded as the oldest continuously operating suppressor manufacturer in the United States with roots dating back to the 1970s, produced some of the most historically significant integrally suppressed rimfire configurations ever made. His work on the Ruger 10/22 stands as a benchmark of that era: a purpose-built, blued steel integrally suppressed barrel assembly registered as its own NFA silencer, delivering whisper-quiet performance that still holds up favorably against today's competition. Ciener-suppressed 10/22s are increasingly rare on the market, representing both a fully functional suppressed rimfire platform and a genuine piece of American NFA history. This specific rifle was made in 1979.

His 10/22 keeps most ammo subsonic, but performs best with full-velocity loadings.  Subsonic rounds may not properly cycle the action. 

This example transfers on a Form 4 as a silencer and also a standard rifle. As it is also a standard firearm, it cannot be shipped directly to your door and must be transferred to a NFA dealer of your choice outside of Texas.
