AMAZINGLY SMALL 9MM SUPPRESSION
The Mod9 SK suppressor by CGS Group is the ultra-compact variant of the Mod9. With the same innovative designs as its full-sized counterpart, the Mod9 SK features a stainless steel booster assembly and blast baffle, with 7075 T6 aluminum placed with less abuse to conserve weight. This maintains durability while making the suppressor lighter and more manageable than many competing products.
The small size of the Mod9 SK allows it to fit more easily in bedside safes than in other storage areas where size is critical. In addition to being able to shoot 9mm, the Mod9 SK is also rated for subsonic 300 Blackout.
CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
The Mod9 SK shares many features its full-size sibling offers but in a drastically smaller package. The SK is ideal when having a very small suppressor matters more than the amount of decibel reduction. Pistol suppressors are not short and are many times longer than even 7.62 silencers on the market. For range use and recreation, a more quiet silencer is impressive. When it gets down to defensive use, many people prefer a shorter silencer and are happy to accept it is slightly louder. A short silencer will fit inside a nightstand safe, making it much more accessible. If you're after a tiny 9mm suppressor and prioritize the most compact package, the Mod9 SK is a great option.
