Alley Cat suppressors by CAT feature unmatched performance and are designed to be caliber-specific.  The Alley Cat 6mm was developed to suppress 6mm PRC, a round that is quickly increasing in popularity among many law enforcement agencies.  While it will suppress calibers such as 5.56 NATO, to reach the intended performance goals, 6mm is strongly recommended.     

Modern combat has demonstrated a need for firearms that can effectively be deployed in small spaces.  Fighting is more frequently occurring in confined spaces, and an evolution of hardware has become paramount for success in these areas.  Caves, tunnels, and areas with large amounts of rubble and debris require smaller firearms, which have the adverse side effects of tremendous muzzle blast and concussive force.  Even suppressed, large amounts of concussive force can have lasting effects as well as make mission success more difficult.  The Alley Cat line is unmatched at muzzle-blast reduction.  Less headaches, reduction in flinching, are reduced physical force exerted on nearby objects are only a few benefits provided by the Alley Cat 6mm. 

Traditional baffles are outdated and have no place in combat with neer-peer adversaries.  CAT takes the very basic design goals of the traditional silencer and expands on them exponentially.  Specific geometry is used to continuously pull higher pressure into lower pressure areas of the suppressor.  Using the full physical volume of the silencer at once, the Alley Cat 6mm can have a much smaller footprint while providing better all-around results than competing products.

Available in both titanium and Inconel, the Alley Cat 6mm can be even further tailored to your unique professional needs.  Titanium is much lighter, but wears faster under extreme levels of abuse.  Select-fire weapons and ones that will see a much more aggressive schedule of fire will benefit from the Inconel version.  Under intended use, Alley Cat silencers have a 100,000+ round service life.
