The B&T RBS 7.62 SureFire is part of their Reduced Back Pressure System (RBS) family of SMG and rifle silencers. The zero backpressure technology features a low-pressure chamber design to absorb a large volume of gas without directing it back into the firearm. This drastically reduces, or even eliminates excess gas pressure. To the shooter, this results in a quieter silencer at the ear, less blowback, and a smoother cycling firearm.
This is a shorter version, matching the profile of their "SF Compact" for use when a minimal footprint is desired. Perhaps the most exciting part is the "SF/SureFire" designation, which indicates this model is compatible with SureFire muzzle devices. The SOCOM muzzle brakes, flash hiders, and Warcomps can attach the RBS Compact SF to the host firearm.
