The B&T RBS Compact SF is part of their Reduced Back pressure System (RBS) family of SMG and rifle silencers. The flow-through technology features a low-pressure chamber design to absorb a large volume of gas without directing it back into the firearm. This drastically reduces or even eliminates, excess gas pressure. To the shooter, this results in a quieter silencer at the ear, less blowback, and a smoother cycling firearm.
The RBS Compact is a shorter version, for use when a minimal footprint is desired. Perhaps the most interesting part is the "SF" designation, which indicates this model is compatible with SureFire muzzle devices. The SOCOM muzzle brakes, flash hiders, and even Warcomps can be used to attach the RBS Compact SF to the host firearm.
