BOSS COMMANDER K SUPPRESSOR - FULL-AUTO RATED 6" TITANIUM 9MM SILENCER, HUB-COMPATIBLE
The BOSS Commander K is a compact 6" titanium 9mm suppressor that BOSS designed to deliver maximum sound suppression for any 9mm platform in a shorter, ultra-light form factor. It measures 1.5" in diameter and weighs 7 oz without a mount, built from a Grade 9 titanium tube and a 6Al4V titanium baffle stack. The Commander K is full-auto rated, has no barrel restrictions, and is optimized for subsonic 9mm. A Glacier Black High Temp Cerakote finish rated to 1,800 degrees F covers the exterior.
At the core of the Commander K is BOSS's Jet Diffusion Technology, which takes its inspiration from rocket engine design. Rocket engines are built to accelerate gases, and BOSS flips that idea around, taking in high-speed gases and slowing them down through multiple progressive diffusion chambers. According to BOSS, this lets the Commander suppress subsonic 9mm much more efficiently than most other designs.
Out of the box, the Commander K ships with a 1/2x28 direct thread mount. Its HUB (1.375x24) thread pattern also accepts any HUB-compatible mount, including the SilencerCo Bravo ASR Mount, Dead Air KeyMo Adapter, and SilencerCo Bravo Piston Mount / Booster Assembly.
CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
Pistol caliber carbines and subguns are where we think the Commander K really belongs. It's full-auto rated with no barrel restrictions, and at 6" and 7 oz without a mount, it keeps a compact 9mm host short and easy to handle. If subsonic 9mm is what you shoot most, that's exactly the load BOSS optimized it for.
We also like that BOSS went with a HUB thread pattern instead of something proprietary. If you already run HUB mounts on other hosts, the Commander K fits right into that setup, and there's a wide selection of HUB mounts available if you want to add more down the road.
