The Allen Engineering M4 is a modified Ops Inc 3rd Model. It uses a 5.56 baffle stack and retains the direct thread first section. Engineered to thread directly onto a 15.4" M4 Carbine, the M4 uses a 3-piece collar that interfaces with the front sight block. This allows two points of indexing to ensure alignment when mounted onto the rifle. The reflex design maximizes volume without adding unnecessary and additional length to the firearm.
Allen Engineering's M4 silencer offers an exceptional return to zero when removed and reinstalled. This is thanks to the two-part mounting system. Return to zero isn't the only benefit. A lack of flex on the barrel and minimal torque for installation prevent accuracy degradation.
If the M4 looks familiar, it probably is. As depicted in the movie Black Hawk Down, MSG Gary Gordon used the M4 during the Battle of Mogadishu.
