A SHORTER, 7.62 AEM WONDER
Many have asked if it is possible to design an AEM5 with a larger bore. It's not quite as easy as a simple 'yes.' To make the AEM5-30K, the original AEM5 architecture was beefed up to prolong its lifespan and adapt the legendary design to suppress the larger calibers.
The AEM5-30K meets the needs of shooters who desire a shorter, .30 caliber silencer that can handle the abuse of cartridges up to 300 Win Mag. It's ideal on precision gas-operated rifles, with 304 stainless steel construction, providing a very long service life. The material utilized has excellent thermal stability and minimal change with heat and cooling from use. With less warping as the silencer gets hot, there are fewer variables to affect accuracy and point of impact.
All Allen Engineering-designed silencers feature repeatable alignment with the bore and exceptional return to zero when remounting. The unique tapered mount also ensures alignment during rough transport or sudden impacts to the rifle. Even in harsh combat environments, abuse of the silencer will not affect the point of impact.
For best fitment, the suppressor should be turned 7-10 times when mounted onto the rifle.
