Under ATF's October 9 policy, you can buy a suppressor on a 4473 in some states. We still recommend a Form 4: it stays compliant if the policy changes, and ATF approvals come back in days.
USED AAC TI-RANT 9S SUPPRESSOR WITH 1/2X28 PISTON
The AAC Ti-RANT 9S is the short version of the Ti-RANT 9 pistol suppressor. It was first offered only to the military before being released to civilians. It uses AAC's second-generation A.S.A.P. booster system so Browning-action pistols function reliably, and the piston can be removed for service without tools. Changing the piston lets the suppressor fit hosts with other barrel thread pitches. It is made from Grade 9 titanium, 17-4 PH stainless steel, and 7075-T6 aluminum. Specifications are from AAC published data.
USED CONDITION
This suppressor is in good shape. It has some handling marks and light carbon fouling inside and out. Images are not of this specific suppressor and may be generic images.

MAY BE REQUIRED
- The included piston fits 1/2x28 muzzle threads. Other thread pitches require a different AAC piston, sold separately.
- Hosts with non-moving barrels require a fixed barrel spacer in place of the piston system, sold separately. Using the piston system on a fixed barrel host may damage the firearm.

The AAC Ti-RANT series are ultra-high-performance sound and flash suppressors for today's 9mm and .45 Auto handguns. Advanced material selection gives the AAC Ti-RANT 9S unequalled durability despite compact dimensions and light weight. For 2011, users will be able to remove the 17-4 PH stainless steel and hard coat anodized 7075-T6 aluminum alloy baffles from the Grade 9 Titanium tube for cleaning and maintenance using a supplied end cap spanner.

For 2011, the previously military-only "Short" versions are available for civilian purchase.
