ZEV creates products intended for serious shooters. The 10.5" complete upper carries over the aesthetics of ZEV production rifles, with both mil-spec parts and functional upgrades. This allows for superb performance, without the unnecessary options that may add weight and expensive. The ZEV 10.5" complete upper receiver can easily be installed on any standard AR-15 or M-16 lower receiver.
Forged from precision machined 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III Class 2 hard coat anodization, the upper receiver has a fantastic strength to weight ratio. The included 9" Wedge Lock handguard provides a continuous 1913 top rail, with M-LOK attachment points on the sides and bottom. The 10.5" barrel, chambered in 5.56 NATO, has a 1:7 twist powered by a carbine-length gas system and low-profile fixed gas block.
